25.01.2022 Maintaining HVAC system integrity with Duraflex Last week #AutomaticHeating visited 200 George Street, Sydney, to service the vacuum degassing and pressurisation systems that keep the heating and chilled water systems operating optimally. Working in unison to maintain system integrity are seven Duraflex EcoPress pressure-maintaining expansion systems with dual pump units, six Duraflex EcoVac Vacuum degassers and six Duraflex EcoTrap dirt separators.... Duraflex products operate to protect water based heating and cooling systems by maintaining system pressure within set limits and removing contaminants and dissolved gases that cause corrosion and damage critical components such as pumps, boilers and pipework. Airservices and Defence have partnered to deliver the OneSKY Australia Program, a joint solution which brings together civil and military air traffic control under a single new air traffic management system, Civil-Military Air Traffic System (CMATS). Out with the old and in with the new as one custom built skid frame hot water heating package slides into place at an aged care facility on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Featuring 2 x wall mounted 75kW Meridian condensing water heaters and a Thermex stainless steel storage tank, the turnkey package also included all the ancillary equipment, such as flues, pumps, valves and expansion system. Time and efficiency is crucial when you require a same day changeover to provide for the hot water needs of nearly 70 residents. The installers have done a great job and the facility will now enjoy the benefits of the increased energy efficiency and redundancy provided by the Meridian condensing water heaters.

12.01.2022 Sustainable heating hot water upgrade with a difference! The existing heating system didn't provide what was required and this facility needed a solution. The focus was sustainability, and the solution was clear. Two Revere CO2 heat pumps on a purpose built skid and able to produce 85C hot water were crane lifted into position and connected to existing heating coils in a short space of time.... With careful design, this solution provides state of the art controls, modulation and one of the largest natural refrigerant heat pumps readily available. Ideal for heating systems and production of hot water, these CO2 heat pumps are also extremely space efficient due to their Y shape design. With a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1 and Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero, R744 (CO2) is a clean, natural refrigerant with the extraordinary potential to operate even with a 60C inlet water temperature.
