25.01.2022 Dant Industries in Clifton Hill automated a roll press to dock at length and batch transformer plates. All parameters can be easily defined by the user on the HMI. Omron automation control products were utilised.

22.01.2022 Initial commissioning completed for an ambient condition monitoring and control system at a data centre being built in Eastern Melbourne. System comprises 2 Siemens S7-1200 PLCs to provide redundancy to meet strict compliance requirements. Web browser has been enabled to allow remote monitoring and control.... Next stage of programming will add dew point calculation and user set points.

22.01.2022 Panel build underway for a 5 axis servo controlled industrial machine. Omron NX1 PLC with EtherCAT to servo controllers and safety PLC. A collaborative project with Schroder Custom Conveyors, commissioning is due to start in November.... More to come.. See more

21.01.2022 This Fanuc robot is on its 2nd owner and 3rd application. Its now picking veneered timber panels and feeding them into a saw line in Campbellfield.

21.01.2022 7 micro PLC systems ready for dispatch to client for connection by onsite personnel. Even during the covid crisis, we have been able to source components from our usual local suppliers such as Omron, Ifm, and Clipsal.

20.01.2022 Volume boost for Victorian manufacturer, jobs and robots required to produce the quantity and quality required. Another 3 Fanuc robots being installed.

20.01.2022 Managing to keep all our employees busy during this stage of lockdowns. 3 builds for a local manufacturer, another 3 interstate including a robot install via Zoom which will be interesting.

19.01.2022 AGF Seeds are now in full production with their robotic bag palletiser. The robot is only running here at about 60% speed and comfortably stacking 5 bags a minute. The stacks reach 2 metres tall, and when cycling on a 35 degree day, motors were running at less than 25% load. All that adds up to a robust solution that should see years of trouble free operation.... Local companies Jastech Engineering and QA Electrical put together the bag kicker and conveyor system and did a great job.

19.01.2022 Install and commissioning this week of a reject log detection system at a Sawmill in Portland Victoria. The system uses 4* Sick 3D laser scanners to determine the profile of the edge. A Siemens S7-1200 manages the scanner results over Ethernet. The user can define and monitor the reject parameters on a HMI.

18.01.2022 Assisting with a machine relocation for TriTech Lubricants to Dandenong South. The brand new factory will bring manufacturing and distribution under the one roof. The rest of the machines and tanks will start their move in December.

14.01.2022 Multiple light curtain sets ready for installation at Visy Board in Dandenong. Each light curtain set will be monitored by an Omron NX safety PLC which will also control muting and override functions. Once installed, the systems will allow safer operation of the machines by helping to detect unsafe access into the machine.

14.01.2022 I know its not the best videography, (a little hard while running the robot in manual at the same time) but the robot at AGF Seeds is nearing production. Conveyors are now operational, safety fencing is next on the list. Hopefully full auto next week.

13.01.2022 HiTech Exhausts in Sunshine required an old NC controlled bender to be retrofitted with a PLC and HMI. A job with up to 10 bends can be set, and then indexed via foot switches.

05.01.2022 Heres another ex automotive welding robot getting reutilised in the manufacturing industry. Plenty of cables and hoses had to be stripped off it, plus the servo gun (7th axis). AGF Seeds in Smeaton Victoria is having the robot perform bag palletising operations.... Set to be in production the end of November.

02.01.2022 Repurposed 2nd hand GMH Fanuc robot The robot shown here is ex GMH South Australia and was used as a spot welder. It has had the redundant welding fit out stripped off it and has been repurposed as a handling robot. This robot was manufactured in 2006 and meets current safety regulations. The customer has chosen to operate the robot within 2 light curtains giving easy access through the work area when the robot isnt operating.... Fanuc Roboguide was able to be utilised on this vintage robot for layout design and offline program development. Being Japanese built, makes them such a reliable product.
