15.01.2022 Knock knock.... Toyota 1KD with a death rattle. Common rail injectors are the heart of all late model diesels and unfortunately they don't last like old school rotary pump set ups. When common rail injectors fail things can go south very quickly due to the high pressures involved.... Luckily the customer recognized the vehicle didn't sound normal and had had it diagnosed asap........ So a fresh new set of genuine denso dlc injectors were fitted and coded along with an inlet manifold and egr clean out while it was all stripped down. On a side note this vehicle had just been to a dealership and had the injector seats replaced (under warranty) due to a recall. Obviously didnt clean the seats or check feedbacks.....
