23.01.2022 This is exactly why we offer pre-purchase inspections. This poor customer came in with injection issues that the car yard couldn’t fix which we have fixed. Customer then asked whilst you have it can you check the passenger side front window as it’s not working. We pulled the door trim off to find a good reason why it wouldn’t work! There were no cables to the motor! This car had passed an RACV check and a RWC just before lock down happened.. So always get a specialist to to check over a car properly as this is not the first time I’ve seen things RACV say are fine but are not! And so you don’t get any surprises months after purchasing that make things very stressful.

23.01.2022 Hey every one we hope everyone is staying safe and well. We have been flat out, and even getting some long term jobs done this year which we will show in posts soon. Also like to remind every one with all this rain, check that your drains are not blocked, as we had a megane 3 that got completely flooded last week, we had to remove all the interior and a whole 45 kg gas bottle to dry out all the foam and carpet.. so to save a heap of pain and money, just pour some water at the base of your windscreen, and see if it comes out under the car :)

23.01.2022 Yes we are still open and staying that way.. Hey everyone just to let every one know the latest here... So the rules are that we can keep working, which is great as we are busy with customers projects, clutches, gear box rebuilds, engine rebuilds and services.. The new rules as you know you can't travel more than 5 km's from home, so if you can wait 6 weeks and already have a booking up to the 14th of Septemeber we are more than happy to rebook you after then. If you need you...r car serviced or repaired urgently, we are more than happy to come pick it up within a 30km radius or are more then happy to have it get towed here if out of that radius or car does not drive. If you are not sure if there is something wrong you can always call us and we are more then happy to have a chat with you about it. Hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you all after these restrictions have eased!

07.01.2022 This week sees Powerflex complete there range for the Clio with the addition of bushes for the hot RenaultSport Clio MK4 RS and its slightly milder siblings. Using parts from it's bigger brother, the Megane II, as well as a newly developed lower torque mount and front ARB mounts, Powerflex can now offer the Clio 4 something its always lacked - the precision of its predecessor, and by replacing the soft rubber bushes and components like the flimsy factory fitted pressed steel... torque mount, we're able to add the missing 'FUN' For the suspension we have, PFF60-501 Front Arm Front Bush PFF60-501G Front Arm Front Bush Camber Adjust PFF60-902 Front Arm Rear Bush PFF60-902G Front Arm Rear Bush Caster Adjust PFF60-703-22.5 Front ARB Bush - 22.5mm PFR60-810 Rear Beam Mounting Bush All bushes in this release can be found in our Black Series range for those looking for a Track/Competition option. The new torque mount combines a CNC machined aluminium bracket with various durometer polyurethane bush options to suit differing states of tune, reducing engine movement and resulting wheel-hop during hard acceleration and gear changing. 03.01.2022 Hey every one While we are in lock down, it’s given me a little time to go through some of the photos I’ve taken over the last year, of things that have come in, that we have repaired, here’s one we did just before lock down. A 172 came in with a awful noise in the gearbox, and the oil was low, after stripping down the box we found the problem. The main bearing had got oil starvation and as you can see got badly damaged, and as normal, the 1st/2nd selector shaft worn from rough gear changes, after replacing bearings and selector shaft, and a new black diamond clutch, the Clio now drives like new :)
