21.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for coming out last night to the Motul Tech session. I know the timing wasn't the greatest but it was the best we could do considering everyones busy schedules. From all accounts, everyone (including myself) found the information useful, which will be helpful in any future oil decisions we make. Special shout outs to:... 1) Troy from MOTUL Australia - Cars for sharing his wealth of oil knowledge and helping answer the questions we put forward to him. 2) Athid from MOTUL Australia - Cars for organising the food, drinks, chairs and helping co-ordinate the night. 3) Kam for allowing us to use his business premises and opening up late for us to hold the event. The guys that I've mentioned above have not been paid overtime for their effort to helping educate us and have done it out of their own good will because they want to help fellow car enthusiasts, so thank you on behalf of everyone that attended the event! I'll be posting up key messages from the session over the next couple of weeks and remember to keep track of our page for any future tech sessions!

18.01.2022 If anyone is looking to attend a track day, we'd highly recommend an EXE-Crew organised track day!

16.01.2022 Prolonged exposure to high temperatures is one of the major contributors to the deterioration of engine oil, and commonly occurs when pushing an engine to its limit on the race track. Just like its important to manage tyre and brake heat and to ensure that these components don't overheat, its also important to manage your oil temperature. Failing to do so can overcook an oil, and in extreme cases, sheer down to a water-like viscosity which won't lubricate or protect anythin...g! Here are a couple of tips to help manage any overheating incidents: 1) Run an oil temperature gauge so that you know how hot your oil gets and when you should start backing off. 2) Use an oil cooler if you identify that your oil gets too hot whilst racing. 3) Use a good quality oil that can handle high temperatures and is resistant to sheering. Good quality oils can sit comfortably at 130 degrees Celsius all day long without breaking a sweat. In cases where you overheat a high quality oil, these oils are designed to sacrifice certain additives in order to prevent the oil from sheering and causing damage to your engine. If you have any questions on how to pick an oil for your application, feel free to ask and we'll be more than happy to answer! Thanks to A.L Captures. for the photo of David Sabatino & Daniel Chin-wee's rides.

02.01.2022 One of the biggest oversights on the Honda Odyssey was the lack of electric tailgate that most modern cars have these days. However, aftermarket kits are available and just as good as the factory option, if it was provided. Take a look at the review on a kit that we installed into our Odyssey here:... http://www.autosphere.com.au//2014-honda-odyssey-automatic We'll be listing these kits up over the next week and selling them through the website. Now tag someone you know with an Odyssey!
