It’s a misconception that if you use your own mechanic to service your new vehicle the warranty will be voided well this is not the case in fact it’s illegal for a manufacturer to make this claim as long as the parts used at the time of service are the equivalent or exceed the quality of original equipment and it’s service is done by the book by a qualified mechanic warranty cannot be voided.
