15.01.2022 *UPDATE* WARHDT won top placed street award at Summernats 33! Ending 2019 with an absolute bang! This 1985 Holden Commodore VK came in for an overhaul and modi...fications throughout in order to be presented at 2020 Summernats! Front and rear seats were completely re-trimmed in brand new original Herringbone and Cerulean materials, with the foam cushions modified to resemble those of a 'Group 3 SS'. All 4x door-trim boards were cut brand new and re-trimmed in original materials. 2x headrests were custom built for the rear seat. Plastics, sun-visors, door rubbers and centre console sections were custom colour matched and painted in a long and detailed process of prepping and priming. Both roof-lining and sun-roof were relined in original Cerulean velour. We built a custom 'wall' and new carpet piece on the P/S to have a continuation of the carpet all the way to the base of the dash. All floor mats were re-inforced and edged with new black binding. Michael also fit a full set of brand new seatbelts, front and rear, while also making 2x custom seat cover gaurds. A lot of love and care poured into this vehicle and we could not be happier with the end result. This was definitely a high-light here at CTM Auto Upholstery!
