17.01.2022 In case you were wondering how a virtual assistant charges for their services, I have summarised this below for you to gain some clarity. Typically, there are three ways they charge: Hourly this usually occurs with things like virtual reception duties where it is hard to determine how long something may take like phone calls, email box management, and customer/client support... Packages this is a tailored service such as social media management, business document support, graphic design, and website creation at the minimum. This list can be quite extensive since there is so much that virtual assistants CAN offer. Retainers you pay for a set number of hours upfront (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) and use them as needed. This is a way to secure time for you in advance and any hours not used will generally roll over for a period of time before they expire. Each VA is different and will charge how they see fit. Pricing will also vary according to their services, skill set and other contributing factors. It is important to remember that cheapest isn’t always best, and in most cases, you really do get what you pay for. We all love a good bargain but in business, getting it right the first time is key as it will save you time, money, and effort in the future.

12.01.2022 I was so honoured to be given the opportunity to assist Christine Ross Consultancy with the Celebrating Aboriginal Women's forum last month. As a former legal secretary with an involvement in indigenous matters, this was something I was very excited to be a part of. There was so much value and inspiration in the stories of these women, all of which were very touching. Your past and circumstances are what you make of them and in fact, they shouldn't deter you from going out... in the world and achieving great things regardless of where you came from. The event was live streamed throughout the day and the recordings are available to watch on Christine Ross Consultancy's Facebook page. My efforts were described as "well organised, polished and professional". There is no greater feeling than the appreciation and praise received In the space of a week, I was tasked with: creating and maintaining the guest database sending bulk email-outs and tracking every response obtaining quotes and collecting stationery and programs for the day creating a PowerPoint slide for the guest speakers with their photos, positions and Aboriginal groups preparing name tags for every attendee helping with the event set up, and other ad-hoc duties as required which is a general idea of how I can assist in your business. : Shane Eecen Studio Happy Hump Day!

These can range from general administration through to design, marketing, project management and so much more. It really is a viable way to get ahead of your workload where you might not have the means to hire permanent employees, or the time to do it yourself. 04.01.2022 FLASH FRIDAYS Pets mean the absolute world to so many of us. They are our go-to for unconditional love, conversation without judgement, aaand they release that happy chemical in our brains. So, I've decided to dedicate Friday's to our cat, Flash, cos who doesn't love a cute pet pic to kickstart your weekend!?... We visited the RSPCA to look at puppies back in 2018, however ended up in a cage full of timid kittens and he was the only one who didn’t run away from us. We adopted him that day at 3 months old. After a week-long battle, my partner got his way and we named him Flash (although I have dibs on naming our next fur baby). He’s very observant and intelligent, and loves to interfere when I’m hard at work on my computer Regardless, he is my pride and joy Happy Friyay!
