20.01.2022 DIY Rosemary an Lavender hair mask for healthier and softer hair. Ingredients 2 tablespoons coconut oil... 2 drops Lavender essential oil 2 drops Rosemary essential oil Instructions Rest the rim of a small pot or glass cup inside the edge of a larger pot filled halfway with boiling water to act as a double boiler. Add coconut oil to the glass bowl and warm until liquefied. Add essential oils to the coconut oil. Mix and let cool and slightly thicken. Apply to wet or damp hair and leave for 30-60 minutes before rinsing.

12.01.2022 When was the last time we thought about beets? Beetroot is BRILLIANT! Red beetroots have been ranked as one of the 10 most potent antioxidant vegetables and are also one of the richest sources of glutamine, an amino acid, essential to the health and maintenance of the intestinal tract. Beetroot is rich in fibre, and the greens (which you can eat, cook them up just like spinach) are rich sources of calcuim, iron, and vitamins A and C. Though we can find them throughout the year, they are at their sweetest and most tender between June and October, so right now is perfect! Try working some beets into the menu for next week

Most people will experience a bee sting at some point in their life, so knowing how to remove one properly is important. While your initial reflex might be to pinch it out, this can lead to more venom ending up in your system. Instead, remove the stinger by sliding your fingernail, or something with a firm edge like a bank card across it to slide it out of the skin. Wash the area, and apply... ice to reduce swelling. If the person who has been stung is allergic to bee stings, immobilise the person, apply pressure to the site, and seek immediate medical help. We have a lot of bugs and critters that can bite and sting us here in Australia, so knowing how to appropriately deal with each one is important for everyone!
