25.01.2022 It's a Full Moon on Monday 30th November. A Full Moon is a powerful time to energise or charge your crystals. First, wash your crystals, particularly the ones you use a lot. You can do this in water but if they are soluble ones (like Selenite) or too delicate to wash, you can sit them on a bed of rock salt.... On the evening of the Full Moon, place your crystals outside or inside on a windowsill that receives Moonlight throughout the night. If you have a large collection and it's impractical to put them all out, choose one in particular that will transfer the charge to the rest of your collection - you choose, you will know which one can do that job . The next morning you can bring in your sparkly buzzy crystals and continue working with them as usual. Giving thanks to the Universe and the Moon in particular . Jo Avalon

23.01.2022 I had a post scheduled for earlier this morning saying that I would be in Walgett for their market today. So many of you liked it and commented thank you but I've deleted it because the truth is that my van broke down yesterday in Gunnedah - I stopped at 3pm in front of Maccas to get a coffee and when I came out I noticed that radiator fluid was leaking out on the road. I called the NRMA and they confirmed that the water pump had s**t itself and I needed to be towed. So ...I am still in Gunnedah and not going anywhere for a few days. When the ute broke down last year, the NRMA patrolman advised that I should upgrade my membership and so I did . How interesting are these snippets about spiritual meanings for car ailments?? You know, everything can be a teacher and googling 'spiritual meaning for.....' can turn up interesting results. You only have to ask the question. How is your day going?

21.01.2022 Hi Friends, I thought I would give you a rest from my product posts this week! Especially as I am focused on packing them up to take to Cobar :). Today is the day I post about cards so I wanted to re-share with you my video about Counterfeit tarot and oracle cards and to ask you to be vigilant when purchasing printed products online, but now unfortunately, in person too. There is quite a rigorous discussion in Facebook groups that I am a member of (Tarot Professionals and ...2 Australian deck traders groups) and it's become a big problem for buyers, deck creators and ethical sellers - with each group losing out. Watch my video and by all means, continue to buy decks and books online, but if you are unsure, ask questions about publishing details, that's the easiest way to discern you are buying genuine products. Let me know what you think?

21.01.2022 Today I am heading out to Cobar to setup my PopUp Shop and am taking Linda who will be offering Tarot readings. One of the many things I love about my roadtrips is the potential for meeting really interesting people. Indeed, I met Linda at a local psychic fair and struck up a friendship with her and it's like that in many places I visit. 15.01.2022 A friend just messaged me to ask about this deck bought on eBay.....yep it's a counterfeit - knock off - fake - rip off, call it what you like, it still isn't the genuine article! So what next? Demand a refund and report the seller to the platform, in this case eBay. Now you know what to look for. @ Avalon by Nature

Earlier this year she opened her own Fair Trade products shop and is a fashion designer who design, sources and imports all her own products. This last week she has posted articles about each of the 10 principles of Fair Trade, she writes: "The shop is ready to start advocacy for Fair Trade. Covid19 is hurting us all, but none harder than th...ose who are already most vulnerable. In the midst of our own chaos please don't forget that trade (when following the 10 principles of Fair Trade) it is a form of aid, the kind that is empowering, dignifying, preserves traditional cultural artisan skills and values humanity." 08.01.2022 I just watched this video about the work that the Indigenous Literacy Foundation carries out - they visit regional and remote communities, assist Elders and young ones with creating and publishing books in many languages, distribute book packs to children - all supported by donations. Avalon by Nature is contributing $15 a month to the ILF.

I am preparing to go to Walgett for their monthly market in a couple of weekends - yes, I know, I don't normally do markets but I want to see what interest there is in Walgett and there isn't a shopping centre...... and I want to see a few friends who are in the area :).... I will get back to regular posting soon :).
