22.01.2022 Happy Holidays everyone! Great to see so many this arvo for our casual training- sorry if the message didn't get through to everyone about the earlier time. Please if you haven't already - download the Teamstuff app, log in & update/complete yours and your player's details. All game/training info will be updated in this app.(once we have been informed of game times etc.) It is up to you (parents/kids) to update your player's availability for training and games moving forw...ard. All games details will be updated on the app before our first game on Saturday 18th July. Next training is on Friday 17th July at our usual time of 5-6pm at Hitchcock Park. Please update Teamstuff with your player's availability for our first training (17th) and first game (18th) a couple of days before. *We understand people might be away for hols. 20.01.2022 Hi Avalon Hockey Club peeps! The weather is looking good for hockey this week! Hope you're all putting those skills learned from Hockey NSW coach Andy to good use! How lucky are we to have him visit us last week. Hopefully we can get him back soon so that those who missed out can learn some new skills. Stay posted! See you all at training tomorrow night. Don't forget to bring mouth guards, shin pads & sticks, and PLEASE arrive early so training can start on time 5PM! See you there!

If you need to buy any equipment, Avalon Hockey is registered with Rebel Sport, so if you purchase at Rebel, please mention Avalon Hockey and our club gets points towards gear and equipment! WIN/WIN ! Also please note that even if we don't have enough numbers for totally full teams, players can still play a game on the day, other teams will have this problem also and they can have a run!

15.01.2022 UPDATE: Woohoo! we're BACK Avalon Hockey Club peeps! Our hockey season will now start on Sat 18 July and run for 10 rounds finishing 19 September 2020.... GAME DATES for the Diary: 18,25 July, 1,8,15,22,29 August & 5,12,19 Sep TRAINING - CONFIRMED for this Friday 19 June 5-6pm Hitchcock Park. We will be adhering to Govt. Covid Safety Guidelines (social distancing, flow drills, register signing etc -email coming in next days) Please provide team numbers ASAP or before 30 June if at all possible. (chase your team mates & let Mel know) Further info on times, guidelines & plans around the season will be sent out as it comes to hand. Hockey NSW have extensive information on their website under 'Info Hub'

05.01.2022 Hi Avalon Hockey Club peeps, sadly training is cancelled today due to wet closed ground at Hitchcock, but games are still ON tomorrow unless we get a downpour which will mean a review. Council are checking fields at 4:30am. We will be advised of any changes in the morning. Fingers Crossed!

01.01.2022 HI Avalon Hockey Club peeps! As of today there are new government regulations for us to adhere to. Team managers to email further details to all players. Key points: *ONE parent or carer to accompany a child to games. * Dont attend games/training If you have visited Victoria or one of the COVID hotspots listed in government advice in past 14 days... *Everyone must register at grounds on game days - see pic of QR code below. All that is required is a mobile phone with camera and one phone can be used to process multiple visitors. * NO CANTEEN but a coffee van will be on site on game days. * Alien Hockey will be in attendance for hockey equipment requirements - sticks, shin guards, balls etc * Follow Northern Sydney and Beaches Hockey Association FB Page for field closures etc. That's it!
