23.01.2022 So many people contributed to last years epically special community day AOTG. I look back now at the hardships we experienced to pull it all together and I cringe at the irony. If it wasn’t for these guys our festival would’ve flown away to the land of Oz. Actually we wouldn’t have been able pay for it from the get go to be honest! I still have people asking me who was that guy running down the hill with sandbags at 3pm?!? So many small businesses pulled together for th...eir community and school. Tony Root was one that went above and beyond for our committee. Now is the time to bunker down and enjoy Home. I’ve been busy getting out our soft furnishings, cushions, throw rugs and plants. Working out how I can make our home as cosy and tight as a drum to get us through this long winter that’s now our life. If you have any projects you need finished ASAP, that can ensure local builders stay in work please get in touch with our lovely Keith Root Building Services they are taking social distancing seriously and doing their best for their team. Time’s are strange, a little bit crazy but if we can stop them being tough for our people let’s do our best. Love from the AOTG team guys xx

23.01.2022 Thrilled for our official festival photographer Donna Johnston chasing her dream and sharing her talent with the world. One of the nicest parts of lockdown were her series of family portraits from local Avalon front gardens. We looked forward to them every day. Congratulations and good luck Donna you’re amazing!

19.01.2022 Hi guys! Remember our lovely Magician Tony who performed at the entrance to Avalon on the Green? He’s taken quite a hit with this hideous virus business and has started running virtual shows via zoom. He didn’t charge us to perform as it was for a good cause and I was hoping we could return the favour by checking out his virtual loungeroom magic shows. ... He’s got one coming up next weekend on Sunday, perhaps us parents need a magical minder to keep the kids entertained while we relax! 12.01.2022 Hi guys Thanks for all of the support of Avalon on the Green! We are thrilled to say that we made just over $33,000 in profit from this fantastic family and community day!... We will have more cups for sale next year during school term but we now we are on a well deserved holiday. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!!

11.01.2022 I’m Daydreaming... Cannot believe it’s been over a month since our first time community music festival. Thank you to the artists who played for their love of Avalon and our local public school. Thank you Ocean Alley for your gifts, for lending your cool and just generally making our 2019 epic. ... We are finalising our tally and writing some lovely fat cheques to our charity partners @oneeighty_inc and @gotcha4life to thank them for their incredible work in our beautiful beaches community. Feels good to do good today.

10.01.2022 Our lovely friends at F45 Training Avalon are closing their doors today. But that doesn’t mean you can’t look after your mind, body and health from home. Please return the support that they gave us during the festival by getting in touch with studio manager Steph to find out about their virtual memberships. It’s more important than ever that you get that heart rate up and those happy endorphins racing daily. Let’s take care of our small businesses now guys.
