04.01.2022 Independents for Pittwater; Selena Griffith, Dr Suzanne Daly, Peter Middleton, Marcia Rackham and Lorrie Morgan are experienced community leaders with a proven ...track record for listening to, and advocating for, community across the Northern Beaches Council Pittwater Ward on Environmental, Social, Development, Eco Tourism, Health, Sustainability, Transport, Culture, Arts and Heritage issues. They are dedicated to ensuring the people of Pittwater are heard in the new, larger council. This group is the only truly independent team unencumbered by political or party ties which means they only answer to, and represent, the community and promise to do so once elected. Our ticket is headed by Selena Griffith, the only former Councillor running who never voted to dismantle Pittwater or slash Warringah in half. We are really excited about running in this election and winning a place on Council to represent you and your needs but we need your help to do this. There are 5 things to cover: 1. Share via word of mouth. Have a chat with your friends about the value of voting for experienced independent councilors who will be able to hit the ground running and advocate for the community without any party of political intervention or manipulation. Chip in for the campaign. We need to raise funds to cover our campaign costs. We estimate we need about $10,000.
