20.01.2022 Avalon Bowlo have been notified by NSW Health of a confirmed Covid case who attended the club on Sunday afternoon (between 5-7pm) and another who attended Tuesday afternoon (between 3-5pm). The club is currently closed for deep cleaning and our staff are currently being tested. NSW Health has contact details for all patrons who have attended the club during these periods and will contact the 'close contacts' directly. ... In the meantime, we recommend checking NSW Health for the latest information regarding the Northern Beaches cases: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates. Showing that no matter what the show goes on...dancers from the Lamont Dance Studio in Avalon are out in force for an end of year performance on the Bowlo's front green today. Lots of fun and water, with the clubhouse air-conditioning in full use. Wonderful to see! The big Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr fight will be on downstairs from 1pm. ... Then to finish of the day we have the awesome Kate Lush Band taking the stage inside from 4pm for today’s Sunday Sundown Session!

05.01.2022 With the full authorisation of NSW Health, Avalon Bowlo is excited to announce that we will be opening our doors again from TODAY (Sunday January 10th). We have undergone a final deep clean prior to opening, and have updated our COVID Safe Plan to ensure we are adhering to all regulations and guidelines provided by the NSW Government and NSW Health. We have upgraded our QR sign in systems to now utilise the Services NSW app. All patrons will be required to SIGN IN via the Se...rvice NSW app on entry to the club. Anyone who fails to do so will be denied entry. By signing in, you are helping keep our community COVID Safe. We also recommend face masks be worn inside the club at all times with the only exception when eating and drinking. If you are showing any symptoms or are unsure of your health status, please be considerate of our other patrons. Lawn bowls will also recommence from today (Sunday January 10th). Please note: there will be no live music today. All events are currently postponed and will resume in the foreseeable future so stay tuned! We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the community for all your support over the past month, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Avalon Bowlo!

04.01.2022 Avalon Laverty drive-through pathology will be operating a COVID-19 testing service from Avalon Bowling Club Car Park, Avalon Parade, Avalon beach. It will be ...opening from Friday 18 December 8am to 4pm 7 days and is wheelchair accessible, no age restrictions. Anyone who has attended the venues of concern is considered a close contact and should get tested and isolate for 14 days even if they receive a negative result.
