23.01.2022 11 Salon Open Days left till Christmas. We have extended hours all year round, with 3 late nights. Christmas week starting 21st we will be open 9am - 9pm, we close for 2 weeks to enjoy our families. 22.01.2022 I feel like I just won the lottery!!! Our parking problems that have been a DRAMA for 3 years will be so much easier with the new proposal being accepted. Once the new signs are in place you will be allowed to park in front of the salon for 3hrs.... We will still keep our private bays around the back available for longer appointments - foils ect. Thank you to Emily Hamilton, and our gorgeous neighbouring shops for supporting this change that will hugely impact the way we can service our community.

We used Aveda Enlightener to lift and brighten Keegans natural hair, then added a deeper level 3 natural colour to complement the fade and sharpen the lines. 16.01.2022 This is a Love story. This beautiful human has been through it all and is on the road to recovery. Drugs drag people to places they wouldnt want to normally go. This gorgeous woman found herself homeless for a time and couldnt maintain her hair, leaving it in a bun it formed one solid dreadlock. Today we got the honour to help her detangle and cut out the past. We prayed together and I will keep in contact with her. I have a dear client who has offered assistance in finding her a job when she is ready. This is love! So its my day off today (Deanna) yes i no longer have to work 6 days because my staff are working so well as a team, and you all know how hard Katelyn has worked alongside me for well over a year. I decided to sneak her car away and get it cleaned, Katelyn hates secrets which makes it all the more fun!... We are more than a salon, we are a family that have each others back, creating an amazing place to work together. I love spoiling not only the clients but my staff too.

Life is worth living, and living it with peace and joy. For some peace is not easy to grab hold of so today think of someone who suffers with depression or anxiety and act on it, reach out. 05.01.2022 Each week I am able to give to Helen the first official New Zealand missionary in the Congo, Africa because of Supernatural Hairs provisions. We together are more than just a salon we have a heart mission to look outside ourselves and to bless others along our path. Xx Deanna This is her latest update. ... I dont know if its the same for all of you but I feel like the days, the weeks and the months are all just blurring into one at the moment! Most things are still closed here and every 30 days they review it and then extend it again. While we wait the suffering worsens, so many hungry people, prisoners are dying by the dozens of starvation! I have tried to find out the exact numbers weekly but am not able to, maybe thats Gods grace for me? Last week I received a gift from a Church in my home town in New Zealand and was able to purchase 700kgs of dries beans for the prison. That same day I bought and distributed 1000 kgs of flour to many families who I know are doing it very hard, there was singing and some tears and lots of joy! We have roughly nine months of rain and three months of dry season here, the rains cause chaos every year and as much of Bukavu is on a hill and many houses are only are built in soil, they come tumbling down every year! Its like catch 22, they know it will happen most years again and again because they cannot afford to build firm foundations, then in the dry season they try to rebuild. The house below belongs to the family of a lady who worked on the mission (I loved her, she was so kind to my boys), she died of HIV/Aids. As you can see it came tumbling down in the rains and they are now rebuilding. Myself and two other missionaries were able to fund it for them. Ive said many times that I wish my supporters could see the changes they are making in peoples lives; without you it would not be possible. So, thank you, from them to you and me to you . Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society arent fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means: * Your child cant go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of cash. * No more cash slipped into the hands of a child from their grandparent when going ...on holidays. * No more money in birthday cards. * No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning. * No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $10 a week away for. * No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return. * No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones. What a cashless society does guarantee: * Banks have full control of every single cent you own. * Every transaction you make is recorded. * All your movements & actions are traceable. * Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need clarification from you which could take weeks, a hundred questions answered & five hundred passwords. * If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, for your own good. And before anybody slams this post ... dont go shooting the messenger .. Im sharing it because maybe we all need to take off our blinkers. Forget about cash being dirty. Cash has been around for a very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence. If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash & that has nothing to do with a virus. Please stop believing everything you hear on the TV. Almost every single topic in todays world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas. Politics & greed is what is wrong with the world; not those who are trying to alert you to the reality.
