25.01.2022 This incredible project for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has reached the halfway mark! The house is being built in our neighbouring community - Harmony. More than 70 local Sunshine Coast tradespeople and suppliers have supported the project to date. Proceeds of the auction (on track for October) will be used to help young victims of crime and vulnerable children in the wider Sunshine Coast community. 25.01.2022 At Aveo The Parks in Earlville, residents are living in the presence of cross-stitching royalty! Rebecca, a resident in the community, has spent the last six months cross-stitching a splendid portrait of King Henry VIII, which she then entered in the 2021 Cairns Show. From the Show, Rebecca was awarded with just about every prize possible, including 'Grand Champion of the Hall' for the best exhibit for the arts and crafts category.... During a recent trip, residents were set to visit Picnic Point in Toowoomba for lunch with a view. That was until the weather had other plans. After much soaking rain, gale force winds, inside-out umbrellas and laughter, sunny skies prevailed for residents to head out on their trip to Toowoomba. ... To celebrate all the wonderful men living at Aveo Albany Creek, the admin team spent all of last week hand-making brightly coloured shaped cards complete with pens and small notebooks.
