20.01.2022 The first step of Victoria's new roadmap out of lockdown officially kicks in this week. Here's what you'll be able to do.

19.01.2022 OPINION: VP LENI ROBREDO IS A VIABLE PRESIDENTIAL TIMBER For the last five years, I have never believed in VP Leni, although I know her as an honest person, one... with a pure heart and a good mind. But these, to me, at the start, were not enough. I was looking for someone who could command obedience among a nation of many hard-headed, obstinate, and recalcitrant people. But after listening to her last Thursday, I experienced some sort of transfiguration. VP Leni delivered the keynote address last February 4, in our Twin HR Summit and listening to her, albeit only via digital platform, was indeed, paradigm-changing to me. I found that for a nation being gripped by gloom and doom, we need a leader with a heart. We need one who can inspire us to hope, to trust and see the brighter side of life. Our people are suffering, not just from the poverty of material things, but also from the hunger for spiritual nourishment, for a moral human life, for the dignity of humans, especially women and the importance of treating them with honor, dignity, and decency. Also for recovery and a renaissance of goodness, and truth, and the beauty of being united and in being in harmony and synergy among ourselves as communities and as a nation. I discern the leadership principles of VP Leni, which includes the importance of a common purpose, a united aspiration and also the imperative for inclusiveness, to make sure that no Filipino or group of Filipinos is excluded from decision-making and from formulating the road map for the country's deliverance from this and the many other crises that beset the nation. VP Leni also stresses the uncompromising need for integrity, accountability, and transparency in the stewardship of the national patrimony and the wealth of the people and the country. She emphasizes the vital importance of respect for human life, for the dignity of the human person and the need to treat women and children with decency and respect. From what I summed up from all her experiences in family, career, and public service, I decided that I was wrong all along. She is not a weak person. She can be a strong leader. She can also make hard decisions. She is capable, when given an opportunity to lead the nation and be an inspiration to unify and empower our people. To be a widow and care for three daughters alone and at the same time, to answer to the call for public service at the same time. It took a strong woman to respond positively to the request of PNoy for Leni to run as the vice presidential bet with Mar Roxas. And the rest is history. He accomplished what Alan Peter Cayetano and Chiz Escudero failed to do, and that was to win over Bongbong Marcos. And so, when I used to think that she is not winnable I was really mistaken. To have won over a Marcos, despite all the money and clout of the Marcoses and the Romualdezes, she demonstrated that she is not only a nice candidate. She is really a strong and viable candidate. She won against the Solid North, even while the Bicolano votes were fragmented due to multiple candidates from Bicolandia, namely Chiz, Gringo Honasan, Antonio Trillanes IV, and even Cayetano whose wife is a Bicolana. VP Leni won over all the men in a field of choices composed of all men. The only worry is money. VP Leni may not have the billions right now, but a group of big businessmen, church leaders, and families of human rights victims are silently organizing a big alliance to push for VP Leni. When the right candidate comes, money will flow in like the Niagara Falls. And even VP Leni will have the greatest surprise of her life. I think, the next president will be a woman, and what a woman she is.

11.01.2022 A lady went to the Pastor and said ... "I won’t be attending Church anymore." He said, "May I ask why??" She said, "I see people on their cell phones during t...he service, some are gossiping, some just ain’t living right, they are all just hypocrites." The Pastor got silent and he said, "Ok... But can I ask you to do something for me before you make your final decision?" She said, "What’s that?" He said, "Take a glass of water and walk around the Church 2 times and don’t let any water fall out the glass." She said, "Yes I can do that." She came back and said "It’s done." He asked her 3 questions: 1. Did you see anybody on their phone? 2. Did you see anybody gossiping? 3. Was anybody living wrong? She said, "I didn’t see anything because I was so focused on this glass, so the water wouldn’t fall." He told her, "When you come to Church, you should be just that focused on God , so that you don’t fall. That’s why Jesus said 'Follow me.' He did not say follow Christians. Don’t let your relationship with God be determined by how others relate with God. Let it be determined by how focused YOU are on God." See more

01.01.2022 To reach our vaccination targets and reopen, we need to vaccinate as many Victorians as we can - no matter where they live. And if Victorians are having troubl...e getting to a clinic, then we'll take the clinic to them. That's why we're repurposing some of our Smile Squad vans as vaccination vans - and the first have headed to Shepparton this week. These mobile hubs will be staffed and run by Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, community leaders and local health services - and together they'll work to deliver vaccines in areas it's needed most. These vans will improve accessibility by taking the vaccine to where it's needed, reaching remote communities and people without transport. The more of us that get jabbed, the better protected we all are. And these vans are helping us make it happen.
