05.01.2022 Like most people, I dont always enjoy having my photo taken. In fact, Im pretty good at avoiding it and hide behind my camera happily taking photos of others.... But heres the thing "Photos of you are not for you! Theyre for the people who love you!" And honestly, the people who love you dont care if your hair isnt perfect or you dont have any shoes on! I have never once looked at a treasured photo of my Nana and thought - what was she wear and look how messy her hair is. All I see is my beautiful Nana. Looking at photos of her help me remember her soft, kind voice and the way she loved me. You dont know how precious a photo is until a photo is all you have... Get into the habit of printing the precious photos of the people you love - if its worth taking, its worth printing! Technology changes so quickly but a photo found in a draw in 50 years time will still hold priceless value. #FamilyPhotography #PhotosOfYouAreNotForYou #PrintYourPhotos #AveryImages

02.01.2022 Did you know.... When I schedule a date/time for your photo session, you are on my calendar! I live and function via my calendar so if youre on there youve booked my time, my focus and my skill. I rearranged my family to accommodate my work. We put off family functions and reschedule outings to suit (my family is awesome) I would never offer your date/time to another interested client - its your booking - that date/time is unavailable to others - its reserved just for yo...ur family. During the past unpredictable few months I decided to waiver the retainer fees to secure bookings. This was a safe guide incase we went back into lockdown due the COVID-19 restrictions. Unfortunately this month alone I have had 3 rescheduled sessions, 1 no-show and 1 last minute cancelation... along with lots of beautiful clients who are amazing ! As of 1st September, 2020 all new bookings require a $50 retainer fee to secure your photo sessions (the $50 retainer fee goes towards the total cost of your session price and is non refundable should you cancel or reschedule) balance is due the day of the photo session. I am very blessed, I love my job, I love the families I work with but this is a business. So moving forward - if I havent received your retainer fee, your session is not on my calendar! Now that Ive got that sorted, time to enjoy the weekend with my family
