07.01.2022 We so often read the line "Domestic geese rarely fly......" in commentaries about geese in both books and online. It's certainly true that many domestic geese never fly. Ours fly everyday and we've noticed that the geese that fly regularly have higher fertility rates than the ones that don't fly at all. Even our very large muscovy drakes fly at times if they have a head wind and the call-ducks fly very high and very fast throughout the year.
