22.01.2022 The Sydney, Rose Bay flying boat control building and passenger terminal in 1939. The base control office was located upstairs giving an elevated view of operations while passengers were processed on the lower level. In the background, the frame work of the Qantas Empire Airways (QEA) hangar is under way and this was completed in late 1939. At this time the flying boats were moored offshore and the aircrew and passengers were moved aircraft by motor launch. Credit Airwaysmuseum.com https://loom.ly/FHqp6Zo
