25.01.2022 And the AGT 2020 winner is ... Sally B! Congratulations, Sally - an impressive effort during both heats and final performance. Big thanks to chief organiser Mrs Ellis, who undertook an incredible amount of work - onstage and behind-the-scenes - to achieve a very successful AGT. Thanks as well to Mr Albury and Adam T for their sound and stage work, and to staff and students for their support.

17.01.2022 Our music students have very busy musical lives: Arts Fest last week, music camp from today until Friday. An early 7.45am start saw AHS stalwart Mr Riordan, revealing new evidence that his repertoire of skills is indeed wide-ranging.

11.01.2022 Today is Tuckshop Day and Aviation High School acknowledges and appreciates the hard work of Kylie and Simone. Thanks for nourishing our students, staff and the visitors to our school.
10.01.2022 Chocolate cake and conversation - a good start to International Mens' Day and the opportunity to share in a global conversation about manhood, masculinity and mens' issues. Principal Mr Munn spoke about the importance of respect and caring for others, and commented on the positive behaviours he sees in action everyday at AHS. Our special guest from the Brisbane Bullets gave us an insight into the life of an elite sportsperson and patiently responded to many questions from the audience. Thanks to Mr Lung and his committee of helpers; thanks also to everyone who contributed in any way.
10.01.2022 FYI: Child safety - Day for Daniel
10.01.2022 As with many other events, this year Arts Fest was different. Usually a night-time extravaganza, the 2020 version was held during the day and became a week-long celebration of the arts at AHS. The Open Mic feature was a huge success. We were entertained on a daily basis, with lunch breaks being filled with live performances by multi-talented students (and staff). Thanks to everyone who contributed - we loved this new addition to our cultural calendar.
