He will be responsible for a variety of matters such as drafting advice, attending meetings with clients, and attending court. Tobie was admitted as a Solicitor in July 2020 and before joining Avis and Funk, he worked as a Law Clerk in Brisbane in Debt Recovery matters and as a Solicitor in the Gold Coast, focusing on growth areas of law such as Wills and Estates and Commerci...al Law. He often did research in trending areas, such as new legislation caused by Covid19 and attending to major changes to Enduring Power of Attorney. Before he was a Solicitor, he often volunteered pro-bono in the Gold Coast and he developed an understanding of trending areas of law such as renting and owning property, domestic violence and family law. He aspires to give back to the Gold Coast Community as a pro bono volunteer in the future. Afterhours, Tobie loves the beach and being in the water. In his spare time, he is typically paddle boarding at Tallebudgera Creek or swimming at Main Beach. Also, he believes that a bowl of Weetbix can replace any meal of the day.
