As an established business created more than 40 years ago, Qsure Insurance Brokers; based in Brisbane QLD has built a solid reputation for integrity and professionalism. QSures Managing Director Melissa Ryan, became an equity partner in QSure Insurance Brokers three years ago, previously holding a role as Sales Manager at Lumley. QSure now has a team of six brokers, with a new General Manager; Ian Dobbs starting early November 2018. The business will be rebranding to align with Aviso Group. When looking for a new partner to build the business, Aviso Group aligned with our values and future goals. I look forward to collaborating with a great group of likeminded brokers. Career progression, I come from a corporate world and have an underwriter background. I wanted to use this background & experience to transition to a senior leadership role with a Broker who acts with integrity and wants to grow. IAGB was an easy choice for me as it meant my family was able to stay in QLD and continue the lifestyle that we enjoy. When did you start at IAGB? October 2018 Whats your favourite sports team? Tottenham Hotspur What would we find you doing on a weekend? Apart from hanging out and enjoying life with my wife and kids, either playing football or chasing a little white ball around a golf course.

07.01.2022 Aviso Group announces merger of QLD and Northern NSW brokers Aviso Group is excited to announce the merger of two of its largest brokers, Insurance Aid General Brokers and Eagle Insurance Brokers. The merged entity will be known as Aviso EIA Insurance Brokers. Aviso EIA will have offices in every major city from Newcastle to Darwin, 80+ staff and will be responsible for placement of over $80m in Gross Written Premium for over 10,000 clients.... Aviso EIA will be led by Aviso Group CEO, Craig Robson, Andrew Hinz and Shane Risby previously from Insurance Aid General Brokers. Managing Director of Eagle Insurance Brokers David Bailey will become a Director of the newly formed business and will also take on the role of General Manager for the Aviso Group, working closely with Craig to deliver on the Groups strategic objectives. Aviso Group CEO Craig Robson said the merger of the two businesses was part of the Aviso Group vision to become one of Australias largest insurance brokers and an industry leader for service and advice.
