23.01.2022 This is the Florence blouse. The neckline was great. No adjustment needed. I lengthened the sleeves to about 3/4 length and also the bodice. Its a cropped-top look with lovely flounces front and back. Its so breezy and cool because of its loose fitting nature. I made one in this green checked heavy cotton which sits a bit stiffer and also in a barely there sateen pink. The pink one has the original bodice on it as firsts tend to be, was a trial! You could see its marginally shorter. Overall its a really cute and flattering blouse and Ill probably be making more b Ezrat HaShem.

20.01.2022 One doesnt imagine gold or silver laying side by side. Its always a choice between that gold necklace or that silver and rarely does one choose the opposite color earring (or at least in my eye it doesnt work). Herein lies the paradox though.. When it comes to putting fabrics together however, while constructing a new scarf and embarking on the exciting process of fabric selection I tend to do the opposite....and on the contrary the gold and silver bring such perfect balance to a piece and the result is a very royal combination!

19.01.2022 Ive completed this beautiful piece. Rose gold against this beige velvet. Its theme lends itself to be worn as in ancient times. A look of old that seems so pure in its essence.

18.01.2022 TWO IN ONE... My first two in one scarf. Initially I couldnt decide which side I preferred to use so I ended up using both . What you see in the first picture is the side of the fabric intended to be used (If thats even possible!). The last picture is the reverse side. They both are lovely and completely different as well. Its literally like purchasing two scarves for the price of one .

17.01.2022 I feel frustrated when I see so many gorgeous and funky styles out there that just miss the right sleeve length/neck height and least of all overall length; elements that enable those of us embracing a modest life and look to be able to wear and enjoy. I have made this dress trying to satisfy these guidelines and to satisfy the passion for good looking fashion. Its in a sturdy jersey fabric, pink glitter polka dot on white. Its so comfy and easy and I just love the design.

16.01.2022 For the first time I decided to use the reverse side of a fabric recently acquired ... originally I paired this rose gold shimmer with the darker side of the velvet and on second thoughts I decided to use its reverse. The two together make for such a great contrast both in style, color and era. The pattern ad tones of this velvet are so reminiscent of a vintage age with Moroccan influence whilst the shimmery fabric has a bold and contemporary feel. Its b Hashem a stunning result!

10.01.2022 Im hoping this turns out as well as I dream it to.. Im using a really unique fabric here. Besides for the gorgeous jungle print chiffon, I feel like I found its twin! Its really light and shimmery. Its colors change as you look from different directions but it basically picks up on the green of its pair and thanks to its rainbow effect it shares all the other colors within it as well. And theres some leftover for a neck scarf as well b H.

07.01.2022 If you feel sometimes like I do that you are worthless and you have no value; lost all belief in yourself, put your fingers on your wrist and feel that pulse! That blood pumped by your heart means that G-d still believes in you and thats enough encouragement, validation to see yourself and your life differently... In the wake of corona the entire world,all at the same time is being put under a test of similar circumstances. How incredible! How weird... For the first time ...in history we are all on the same page and focused on the same thing. Tests after all are opportunities in disguise. Lets face it head on, forgive ourselves for our behavior on those rough days and keep going ... we will emerge cleansed and stronger if we have G-d in our hearts and minds and know that he is routing for us. We should have no fear as well as we are aware that it is He and only He who will determine our outcome And keep us safe. I will try to keep that in mind and keep praying to Him for mine, my familys and the safety of all people. See more
