19.01.2022 Blackheath pins its reputation on the showing of rhododendrons and has a festival to celebrate them in November. One of the best places to see them is the town's Memorial Park. In early spring, there is only the merest hint of what is to come... but it is promising.

10.01.2022 And it's spring again already. The wisteria at the front gate looking good this year. The cherry blossom too.

08.01.2022 Autumn is making a late start at Avoca Cottage this year. The tulip tree was the first to turn and it's looking good. The tree was planted by my father-in-law after a visit to Mt Wilson. It's beautiful memorial to Roy. It looks like it will never stop growing. Couldn't resist the little shadow selfie in the foreground. Shot on 21 April 2016.

02.01.2022 But things are much hotter down in Blackheath village with Wentworth Street really looking the autumn part. Also shot on 21 April 2016.
