25.01.2022 Avocado farmers in South Australia fear they might have to delay their harvest due to coronavirus restrictions and trade disruptions, as interstate produce continues to fill supermarket shelves across the country. Waikerie-based producer Justin Loffler told ABC Riverland holding off to pick their fruit would turn into a real gamble, as growers in the Riverland already battled with significant crop losses this year. https://www.abc.net.au//avocado-growers-fearful-o/12458760 #covid19 #covid

25.01.2022 Happy #AgDayAU everyone! Because we always want everyone to have the very best #smashedavo experience, Australia’s avocado growers commit to an annual R&D levy to make your avocado better. We’re focusing on growing our domestic and domestic markets, and making sure that 90% of Australian avocados received by our avo lovers (wherever they may be!) meet or exceed their expectations of quality. Happy National Ag Day to everyone, from the farmers to the food lovers, from the orchard to the plate. #AgDayAU #NationalAgDay #NationalAgDayAU #smashanavoathome #smashanavo

23.01.2022 Here in the Avocados Australia offices today, we had to quality control the latest creation from Grassy Knoll Brewing! It’s a tough Tuesday when you have to partake of a workplace beer tasting. Australian Avocados worked with Grassy Knoll Brewing to develop this refreshing Aussie Avo Ale, and we agree it’s just what you need for a sunny afternoon. The ale is available for a limited time only, online from Grassy Knoll Brewing, or from Bucket Boys, Marrickville; Papi Dulce, Wollongong; Krafted Beer Festival, Gold Coast; Saccharomyces Bottle Shop, Brisbane and Cloud Wines South Melbourne. #smashanavo #responsibly
