11.01.2022 [WE ARE OPEN] if anyone needs toilet paper or a free meal (elderly, disabled, disadvantaged, doing it tough), come to us and its absolutely gladly on me for free! we are open and trading wednesday to sunday, we are sparkling clean, sanitising hourly, fully compliant with the 4sqm distancing capacity rules (thanks to our lovely big open space) and our house is your house.... we are about to launch cheap and yummy frozen meals, take away and home delivery of our regular menu! watch this space! we proudly employ local staff and do not want to close like many other are, as that costs local jobs and livelihood. we totally understand why others have done this and respect that, we have decided to stay open to give our community a place to enjoy - either at our house or yours! it’s really tough but we will get through this together! thank you for your support, we’ve actually still been really busy every day with forward bookings, weddings etc too and my team are simply incredible xxx

09.01.2022 [WE ARE OPEN] but we aren't being silly about it! your health + safety + wellbeing is our priority. otis + I wish to extend our love to you and your friends and family during this uncertain time.... avoca surf house will be open this week. we have always been great at cleanliness but we've upped the ante and are sanitising our venue hourly, including every single surface, table, chair, bathroom, bench, desk, ipad, everything. our staff + guests have constant access to sanitiser + hand wash (and toilet paper! yay!) to keep the germs at bay. where our staff may be affected or unwell (never fear, no cases at all for our staff!), we are keeping them at home to rest. to our elderly, disabled + disadvataged customers - having trouble getting toilet paper? running low on money and need a healthy meal? talk to us. i'm happy to shout you a meal or give you some loo paper.
