24.01.2022 Illawarra Women's Hockey Life Member Val Kirkwood has passed away. Very sad for the hockey community. Details of her funeral are below for those who have had the pleasure of dealing with this lovely lady. I know she holds a very special place in some of our club members hearts.

18.01.2022 VALE: EILEEN BIRD It is with great sadness that I inform all our members and the greater hockey community that Eileen Bird passed away on Friday, 30 November. A... Life Member of the Illawarra Women's Hockey Association (hence Illawarra South Coast Hockey) and Figtree Womens Hockey Club. She was a tireless worker and valued member of our hockey community at many levels over many decades. Instrumental in leaning on local politicians in the formative years of establishing the Illawarra Hockey Centre, she was always, forthright, fierce and passionate about what she believed was right for women's hockey. She would not take No for an answer if it wasn't assisting in meeting her vision for women's hockey in the region. Even in her later years when her health was not the best, she would still turn up to hockey events at the Illawarra Hockey Centre to meet with friends and players and watch the hockey. A lady who at times scared some, but at the end of the day had a soft heart and a smile on her face. We send our sincere condolences to the all the family at this very sad and difficult time. Though it is definitely a life to celebrate. Detail on Funeral arrangements will be posted once known.

18.01.2022 Training will commence on Monday 4th March. Please note the new day and time!! Junior training (all welcome) will be from 5.30pm to 6.30pm during March then will move to 5pm to 6pm. Senior training will be from 6.30pm to 7.30pm during March then will move to 6pm to 7pm. Seniors are welcome to come along early to assist with Juniors or to do some fitness.

11.01.2022 ISCH U13 and U15 INDOOR TRIALS Indoor Trial Dates for U13 and U15 Girls and Boys 2018 Indoor Trials for both Girls and Boys will be held at the Illawarra Hockey Centre, Unanderra on Sunday 12th and 19th August, 2018. Girls U13 10.30 - 12.00 noon Boys U13 10.30-12.00 noon... Girls U15 9.00-10.30am Boys U15 9.00-10.30am All U13 and U15 players are invited to nominate and attend trials.
