23.01.2022 Avondale is back open to the public this coming Easter. The property will be open Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10am to 4pm each day. Also happening in Beverley are the Easter Markets at the Station Arts Gallery, Easter Art Show at the town hall and the Beverley Tennis tournament near the town oval. While you are around town stop off at one of our towns little eateries and pick up some delicious food from the Beverley Country Kitchen, Red Vault or Hotel Beverley.

Sadly Mr P isnt here this weekend he has been a long time dedicated supporter of Avondale for many many years. If you want to know anything about this place this is the bloke to speak to. 18.01.2022 Hi All Avondale has closed for the summer months and will re-open next year in March. Avondale closes as its a high risk fire property which is leased out by a local farmer. The property closes for a safety reason.

17.01.2022 Even tho it's Sunday. Life doesnt stop at Avondale. From checking the sheep to looking after the horses always something going on. Today us farrier day for Comet, Robbie, Jaz and Donk. The two clydesdales need to have their feet soaked every day or night a week prior to the farrier coming as their feet become rock hard.

16.01.2022 Avondale Discovery Farm has a dedicated group of Volunteers who not only look after and maintain the Museum collection for the shire but own Robbie and Comet the two resident Clydesdales at Avondale. These volunteers are known as the AFPA which stands for Avondale Farm Project Association. Recently AFPA acquired a new horse float which was funded in part through the Federal Stronger Communities Programme. The float will be used to transport our resident Avondale Clydesdales Comet and Robbie. 15.01.2022 THE AVONDALE DISCOVERY FARM MONSTER CAKE & PLANT STALL is on again this Saturday the 23rd of September from 8.30 am at the Lions shelter next to IGA (Vincent Street, Beverley) Once again, Avondale are holding a stall to raise funds for the upkeep of our two resident Clydesdales, Comet and Robbie. There is to be a major raffle of a painting by local, award winning artist, Pat Lane. On sale, cakes, slices, garden plants and lots of other fun things.
