Thanks to all of you! RE: BRONZE TENDER WIN... As discussed on the phone just now Congratulations your bid has won this Bronze tender. Well done, and a good reward for long term performance. The tender review board consisted of Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Commercial and Procurement management teams. The board commented: QUALITY - Avtech demonstrates excellent quality process and control in order fulfillment to us. On review of historic quality data, there has been no production rejects in 2 years an exceptional achievement. PRICE - Avtechs tendered price was satisfactory and fell within industry benchmarks Our company is committed to World Class Manufacturing and Quality objectives and Avtech has demonstrated its ability to strongly deliver to this requirement. We are currently reviewing material at present and will provide an update next week on expected order placement. Indicatively we would envisage a December/January delivery will be confirmed next week. Congratulations!

22.01.2022 At long last the outside of the building has been completed. And what a picture. The new look of the building complemented by a fully sealed yard, brings us leaps and bounds ahead. We will be happy to miss the dust and the Avtech Lake this winter.

16.01.2022 So we have installed the new QTC300MY and it is producing great parts. They not only look good, they were right the first time.

16.01.2022 Things are changing at Avtech. We have an Extension to the building. And what is in the big box that arrived today?

15.01.2022 Nice to have the horse power and stability to machine these billets of 425dia K110 tool steel on our new Integrex 400. @6mm depth of cut. Amazing.

13.01.2022 One of our latest, largest pieces of work. The original blank was flame-cut from 300mm Gr350 plate and weighed 350Kg. Our task to machine critical faces only on our Okuma MB56. Well done Daniel.

12.01.2022 Today we installed our latest addition to our machining capabilities. Mazak QTC300MY x 1050mm Hope to show you some parts that were made on it soon.

12.01.2022 So at last here is our first real part being made on our EDM Wire Cutter. We used the rotating axis to position the part so that it is completed in one operation. The centre cross section is only 0.5mm thick.

11.01.2022 We have added a new Tool to our factory. It is a Portable Spark Eroder (EDM) for the removal of broken taps and studs. For taps M2 ~ M36 or an electrode capacity 2mm ~ 13mm diameter. This week we saved a part that had $750 of machining invested in it, when the tap broke. With this unit the broken tap was removed and the part was saved.

11.01.2022 This week we have added 30KW of Solar Panels to the roof. Paid for by the savings of electricity. Now I just need more roof space.

10.01.2022 Today we passed our First full Year QAS Audit. Thanks to our team in completing all of the internal audits and making the system work. Now our clients can be well assured that we have the systems in place to look after their work to the highest standard required.

07.01.2022 So proud of our team, tonight we have been awarded the Best Trade Service large business for the Swan Business Awards! Yippee its been a big year!

07.01.2022 The boxes are now empty and our new piece of technology has landed on the floor at Avtech. Fanuc 600 EDM Wire Cutter x 400 high. Complete with a rotary axis for those tricky parts. Now the fun begins. Stay tuned to see the first samples being cut.

05.01.2022 Avtech was proud to have been selected as the sole event sponsor for Greenwood Tennis Clubs 2019 Club Championships! The event was excellently run, and had members, from the juniors to seniors involved. Nice to be involved with the presentations. Great to be able to give a little back to the community

05.01.2022 With 13 others (7 staff and their partners and children) from Avtech Engineering, we spent 2 nights bush camping in Badgingarra. There were 7 tents and 6 nationalities! For some it was their first experience at this type of camping in a no facilities bush camp. They handled the on/off rain with smiles on their faces. The camp fire and the abundant show of stars was the best. Many thanks to you all for making this weekend a happy and memorable one. Where are we going next year ?
