25.01.2022 Only managed photos of two of my fabulous Saturday girls today. But I promise they were all as brilliant as these two!!!

24.01.2022 All our riders working hard on perfecting their dressage tests for our agisters mock competition this weekend. A good chance to nail the competition protocols and brush up on proper etiquette!

24.01.2022 No stirrup November continues into December for some riders! Have I mentioned that riding without stirrups is the absolute best way to develop your seat??

24.01.2022 This airplane exercises (and one's like it) are soooo good for developing an independent seat and improving balance, as demonstrated by Chloe. Lunge lessons are important for every level of rider- so get on that lunge!!

23.01.2022 This riding business is hard work!!

23.01.2022 Tully and Tiwlip flying today!!! Spring is in the air and this pony is feeling it!

23.01.2022 Marley and Violet getting into the Christmas spirit!!

22.01.2022 This group of riders learning how to ride 'left to left' when passing other riders. Very useful in the warm up arenas!

22.01.2022 Super rider Leah learning all about how much muscle it takes to ride bareback. She made it look easy!!!

22.01.2022 First ever jumps for these two sisters who have been progressing in leaps and bounds (literally!).

21.01.2022 It's not just the humans that pack on the holiday kilos... You'd think Bronson was a mare in foal until you look between his legs

21.01.2022 Young rider Violet working hard on her position and balance. I harp on all the time about the rider relying on their OWN balance and not that of the horse. This not only makes a more stable rider, but it allows the horse to move freely and happily. And aren't we all about the horse's happiness in the end???

20.01.2022 It was a jumping kind of day- but this rider doing so bareback!! Harder than she's making it look. Super riding!!

19.01.2022 Not many students get to sit on Fabian, but Sarah did a stellar job at finding his buttons!

19.01.2022 No stirrups, no reins - no problem!!!

18.01.2022 No stirrup November kicked off today for these riders!!

17.01.2022 One of our residents got his wings today. His mind was still bright, but a hard prior career left him with a body that couldn't keep up. Although he was far too young, owner Lauren did the kindest thing in letting him go. He left with his best horse friend watching over, and a tummy full of sweets. Rest peacefully, Captain. We will miss you!!

16.01.2022 Now offering THEORY AND HANDLING lessons. Ever dreamt of having your own horse??? Need to brush up on your knowledge and confidence on the ground? Now is the time to book in! Including:... Feed Anatomy Hoof care Medicating/ vitals Ground handling Lunging Tack And more (we all know you never stop learning!!) See more

14.01.2022 Every wonder how our lesson horses are prepared for their job? If a rider becomes unbalanced or falls (happens to us all!!) the ideal response from the horse is to stop and stand quietly, demonstrated by Lauren and Nomad!

13.01.2022 Nomad loves the littlies

13.01.2022 Always nice to have some men in the arena to even out the estrogen! Well done Steve.

12.01.2022 Rusty's first time working in-hand. In this video, I was asking Rusty to take more weight on his hind legs resulting in shorter, higher strides. I think he made a cracking attempt!!

12.01.2022 Superstar rider Sari getting some lovely self carriage and impulsion from her horse Lodgey.

10.01.2022 Everyone say hello to Nomad!! Nomad is now available for lessons and is very excited for the extra treats!

09.01.2022 Not a bad view at the office!!

08.01.2022 It's dam season again!! And boy are the horses (and kids!) happy about it.

08.01.2022 My lesson ponies are a special breed. Endlessly forgiving, and much better teachers than I could ever be. They deserve every extra piece of liquorice and carrot they get- and more!

08.01.2022 Another one heads over the rainbow bridge. I love them all as my own, but little Winston held a special place in my heart. Rescued by Cate in shocking condition after found dumped on the streets, this mid 30's boy lived the best life a pony could live with us. We will always remember his constant soft little nickers and miss him begging for scratches. Rest in Peace, Winston.

07.01.2022 We had such a great day at our agisters mock dressage comp! I was too busy to take photos, but I'm so proud of everyone, and so thankful for everyone who helped out and donated their time and effort to make the day a success. Hopefully the riders got some good practice in for the real competition world!!

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas! Enjoy a compilation of some of the horses getting their Christmas carrots

04.01.2022 Lesson horses Marley and Bronson modelling for our 2021 calendar! Details on how to order your own in the comments. All profits going to our syndicate owned rescue horse and his ongoing treatment for neurological issues.

04.01.2022 Storms are over- time to gallop into the weekend!

03.01.2022 When Tiwlip feels like going, damn does she go!!! Super rider Tully getting the hang of that big bouncy canter.

01.01.2022 A fathers day special today! Happy Fathers day to all those dad who support our young riders and their horsey dreams.

01.01.2022 A very foggy start to today's lessons!
