24.01.2022 Exciting news Effective 1 October 2020 loan rates have been reduced! Normally such a reduction would take place when the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) lowers the Official Cash Rate. We are dropping our rate outside of any RBA movements because we are different from other banks. We care about our members and are always striving to deliver the best outcome that we can. Traditionally financial institutions offer new borrowers a lower rate then slowly inflate this rate over t...ime. We believe it's only fair to offer long time members and newly joined members the same savings and benefits. Therefore we do not have differential pricing for borrowers with the same product. We encourage all members who know family and friends who have a home loan elsewhere to check their rate. 23.01.2022 Something amazing happened at the Shark Pitch event in Portland last night. $45,814 raised for community organisations kickstarted by matched funding from AWA. A fantastic event in its second year put together by the outstanding team at United Way Glenelg.

16.01.2022 Notice is hereby given that the 51st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of AWA Mutual Limited will be held online on Tuesday, 20 October 2020 at 6pm. Agenda 1. To confirm the minutes of the 50th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, 18 October 2019.... 2. To receive and adopt the Report of the Board of Directors for the year ended 30 June 2020. 3. To receive and adopt the Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2020. 4. Four Director’s, Richard Lyle, Brian Virtue, Adrian Hart and Andrew Dwyer retire in accordance with the Constitution. Being eligible, Richard, Brian and Adrian have offered themselves for re-election and one nomination has been received from Elizabeth White. As there are four vacancies and four nominations an election will not be required. Members will be requested to endorse their appointment to the Board at the AGM. 5. To determine Directors’ honorariums for 2020/21. The Board is recommending an increase in total Board remuneration to $133,500.
