23.01.2022 Teaching our children the beauty in silence and importance of it in their daily life is crucial. It allows them emotional rest, time to listen to their internal voice and the rythum of life. Providing them with opportunities for this daily practice sets them on a path toward sustainable mental health. " It might even be fun to join them"

21.01.2022 2018 has got off to a wonderful start with classes in Baldivis and Vic Park. Emotional intelligence is vital for growing minds to be able to make sense of themselves and the world around them. Providing them with opportunities to be still and silent regularly gives them space to listen to their bodies, mind and heart.
16.01.2022 AWAKE Kids is a program we are passionate about. Join us in giving our children tools for sustainable mentally healthy lives, free of distructive addictions, family breakdown and self made pain. Let us help them find Joy, Love, Acceptance, Faith, Community, Opportunities and Adventure.
12.01.2022 Merry Christmas and the brightest of New Years to everyone.
08.01.2022 As I move through each day I am discovering that the need for AWAKE Kids is overwhelming. Im very proud of what we have created and the beauty of this program is that is crosses all ethnic, ecomonic, faith, education beliefs, gender and parenting styles. It does that because it is aimed directly at each child. It speaks to them and grows with their self awareness of themselves and empowers them to make decisions for themselves that are healthy for them while respectfully cons...idering others. We want a world that embraces our children and allows them space to grow while teaching them responsibilty to themselves and their communities. Raising children who have a global sense of where they sit in this universe is important. It inbues them with the knowledge that there are consequences for their actions on the wider community. We are lacking that right now and it shows. There is mass disengagement by our youth. Why? We as a community are failing them. That is why we wrote AWAKE Kids. To engage them, empower them and watch the magic happen once they have the tools to live life AWAKE. Peace will follow.

02.01.2022 Kelmscott HSG feelings painting. We have been exploring the different ways we can express how we feel when words are not enough.
01.01.2022 In these days of isolating, I encourage you to change your kids mindset around that term. They are isolating to be safe and safe for others but are not alone, can access friends by phone, and other devices. They can reconnect with people they have lost touch with offering an ear to listen, someone to laugh with. Do a family quizz challenge. 20 questions. The results can be hilarious. Go for walk or a bike ride. Eat dinner as a family, encourage them to help cook or take over. Talk until they beg you to stop. Hand over some decision making for the family that day to them.
