09.01.2022 She is finally here! Saige-Lee Born Monday the 20th July @ 9:39am ... 6 pound 8 ounces and absolutely perfect We are so in love! Sorry my page has been quiet for a couple of weeks. This pregnancy was tough, but she is so worth it! Thank you so much to all my lovely clients who blessed baby Saige with gifts and home made treasures. We are so thankful. And than you everyone for your support and understanding at this time. I will be off work until September and then online bookings will be available for a couple of days per week. I recommend booking in advance so you are able to get a appointment that suits. Also when I re-open the new salon will be built so that’s super exciting. Tooth enamel is designed to protect the teeth from the effects of chewing, gnashing, trauma and acid attacks caused by sugar. But over the years enamel is worn down, becoming more transparent and permitting the yellow colour of dentin the tooth's core material to show through. During routine chewing, dentin remains intact while millions of micro-cracks occur in the enamel. It is these cracks, as well as the spaces between the crystalline enamel rods, that gradually fill up with stains and debris. As a result, the teeth eventually develop a dull, lacklustre appearance. The more stained your teeth are the more dramatic the result will be. Teeth whitening whether done by a dentist or another technician will not whiten your tooth enamel, the process will bleach the stains on the surface of your teeth. Teeth whitening is purely cosmetic and non dental. The products we use are gentler than and just as effective as those used by the dentist. Treatment is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Treatment results will last for 8-12 months depending on diet and lifestyle. Smoking, coffee, tea, fruit juice and sodas will all eventually re-stain the surface of your teeth. After a teeth whitening treatment, the pores of your enamel are open and this makes them extra vulnerable to any stains which can reverse a lot of the whitening benefit from your treatment. Follow the White Diet for 24-48 hours after a teeth whitening treatment. Once the pores close, which usually happens within 24-48 hours after the procedure, you can resume your normal habits. An easy rule to remember is anything that would stain white fabric; Avoid it! Please gently brush teeth 1 hour before your treatment for best results. These new measures will help keep you all safe and myself. ... I will be wearing a face mask for your appointments and you are welcome to bring your own face mask to wear also if you wish. All waxing will be done on a plastic covered bed that will be disinfected after every client. (Please dress warmly for waxing) All facial treatments and relaxing services will have the bed linens changed after every client. All door handles and surfaces will be disinfected after every client.
