21.01.2022 As you know, weve had to put a lot of restrictions on travel and activity in WA lately. Our borders are now closed, and even Western Australians cant leave th...eir region. But I have to make one more request ahead of this Easter long weekend. Please do not travel. Stay home. Its true that under the regional restrictions its still possible to go to some places. For example, Perth and Mandurah are in the same region. So are Bunbury and Margaret River, or Geraldton and Kalbarri. But that absolutely DOES NOT mean that travelling to those places for non-essential purposes is okay. NO ONE in Western Australia should be going on an Easter holiday. We dont want to divide our State more than we already have, but we need everyone to do the right thing - especially this weekend. We just cant have people putting any of our communities at risk by moving around our State. There are no excuses. So please, if you want to go camping, do it in your backyard. If the Easter Bunny is on the way, ask them to hide the eggs at home, not at a holiday home. We all love our trips, and we all have our traditions - but this year, theyve got to go on hold. This wont last forever, and when it is all over, well all just appreciate them so much more.

We are currently offering screens in 6mm toughened glass (as easiest surface to clean and most hygenic) or alternatively you can purchase in acrylic for faster turnaround.... 14.01.2022 Heritage Restoration Underway AWB have commenced heritage restoration works to the Northam Post Office. This is an exciting project for AWB, with the building holding vast aesthetic and architectural significance. The building is an excellent example of a government building constructed in the 1870s - 1890s and AWB are very much looking forward to the opportunity of restoring this building to its former glory.... The Northam Post Office has historical and social significance on account of its central role as a communications centre in the development of Northam, its use as a Drill Hall during WW1, and its more recent use as an art gallery and cultural centre. It forms part of the historic Wellington Street precinct and contributes to the streetscape and character of Northam. AWB will undertake works over 3 key stages with a 4 month Program. Works will comprise of; -Veranda and Roof Upgrades -External and Internal Painting Upgrades -New Access Ramps, Stairways and Entry Points -Restoration of the PO Boxes to comply with DDA -Internal Residence Upgrades and Fit out.

04.01.2022 Project Snapshot EDV roll out well underway! AWB have been engaged by Australia Post to roll out a number of EDV Fit-outs across regional and metropolitan WA.... The new three-wheeled electric delivery vehicles (eDVs) are said to be equipped to carry more than 100 small parcels and up to 1,200 letters and are part of a national deployment of 1,961 eDVs. The vehicle is the DXP 240 built by Swiss company Kyburz specifically for the postal task. It has a claimed top speed of 45km/h, range of 50km-100km, charging time of 1o hours and total weight of 510kg. AWB works vary depending the site however generally include electrical upgrades, partitions and joinery, linemarking and safety barricades. #Australiapost #awbco #edv
