We have had back to back weddings functions and events. Plus covid really has made a heck of a lot more work and running around than anyone could of anticipated. We’ve got two more events to pump out this Thursday and Friday & our last wedding of the year next weekend. We’re trying our absolute best and every single one of our couples is incredibly important to us. We want to ensure you get the best of us. We have considered hiring a dedicated admin helper, but with this, would mean extra costs ultimately on our clients. We really don’t want to add more costs to your wedding quotes. 01.01.2022 I’d like to talk about the connection between Flowers, Farmers, Drought & Mental Health and the meaning behind the arrangements pictured here, that I created from the clients brief. Part of my life, I’ve shared, working on family run properties all over Queensland, Australia. Cattle & Cropping. One thing that has been consistent, all the way through, was the coming together at the end of the day, for that home cooked hot meal aro...und the table. You could smell it, walking up to the back of the house, where you’d wash your hands and clean up before coming inside. Gone are the days of the cliche ‘Man on the Land’. For the most parts, it is a husband and wife, a family, working together, a team. But, on that table, you’ll find, a humble little vase arrangement, filled with fresh flowers, handpicked with love, from the family garden. Most often picked by mum. These flowers symbolise our memories, our roots, that ground us. We find solace, calm and hope. About the foliage & flowers in these pics. The foliage is comprised of mostly local asstd eucalypt/gums, pepperina, silky oak and magnolia.
