16.01.2022 As of today (Friday 17 January 2020), all areas of Booderee National Park will be open for day visitors, as well as campers with existing bookings! An excepti...on will remain for Stoney Creek Rd which will be closed in the evenings from 7.00 pm to 6.00 am. Stoney Creek Road provides access to the Lighthouse, Steamers Beach, and the Stoney Creek area. These locations are required to be vacated in the evenings before 7.00 pm until further notice. A Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) for Booderee National Park remains in place until the end of January 2020. Visitors can still use electric barbecues on park in designated areas, but no open fires are permitted We recognise this has been an extremely difficult time for our community on the NSW South Coast and our local businesses, and our hearts go out to them. We’d like visitors to return to the Jervis Bay region and encourage all to buy local and support our local communities and business in the South Coast region to get back on their feet. While conditions have eased we remind visitors to continue to monitor advice from the NSW Rural Fire Service and to plan ahead, particularly as a number of road closures currently remain in place in the surrounding region. If you have any questions about your booking, or wish to make a cancellation, please contact [email protected] See you all soon! Parks Australia
