16.01.2022 2020 National Bushfire and Climate Summit - free online wrap up event - Wednesday, 29 July @ 6pm AEST. The Emergency Leaders for Climate Action (ELCA) held a series of virtual events and expert roundtables for the 2020 National Bushfire and Climate Summit, including representatives from fire and emergency services, the military and home affairs, industry, economists, farmers, the health sector, veterinarians, scientists and local governments. The first publicly live-streamed... panel for the 2020 National Bushfire and Climate Summit streamed on 9 June 2020. The Australasian Women in Emergencies Network was represented on these expert panels. A wrap up event will be held on Wednesday, 29 July @ 6pm AEST where former NSW Fire Commissioner, Greg Mullins, and Climate Council CEO Amanda McKenzie will present the recommendations put forward by experts during the Summit expert roundtables. #climatechange #climateemergency #womenleadership Register for the free event here: https://lnkd.in/g3YD7vH
