17.01.2022 The final grant for this year goes to "Vinnies Willunga Christmas Hamper Appeal 2020", a collaboration involving Vinnies, the Rotary Club of Seaford, and local food suppliers/supermarkets, that will provide 110 hampers to regional families in financial hardship. Thanks to this year's AFF trustees for their financial and time contributions, as well as their patience in conducting meetings in a COVID safe manner.

We have one vacant Trustee position within the Fleurieu Chapter of the Awesome Foundation and would love to welcome you into the circle. AWESOME IS EVERYWHERE! The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. Created in the long hot summer days of 2009 in Boston, the Foundation distributes $1,000 grants, no strings attached, to projects and their creators. At each fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from the coffers of ten or so self-organizing micro-trustees and given up front in cash, check, or gold doubloons. 10.01.2022 Two years ago Awesome Foundation Fleurieu was launched, and has since selected 19 Fleurieu based recipients to receive $1000 each for their awesome projects, with another $1000 to be given at the end of this month. New trustees are required for this initiative to continue in 2021. If supporting events and activities on the Fleurieu hits your sweet spot, then get in touch to express your interest.

03.01.2022 So excited to award this month's Fleurieu Awesome Foundation Grant to the Fleurieu Refugee Support Group to support a Student Art Event that will culminate in an exhibition on Saturday October 3rd of artworks based on the theme "Welcome - We Are One". Winners will be announced at 4 pm Saturday, October 3rd at the Yankalilla Showgrounds by Rebekha Sharkie. There are two categories for entry: Age range 5 - 11 and 12 - 18 years. Local musicians, a band from Somalia and a local ...school choir will provide musical entertainment outdoors under a marquee. We have booked a refreshment van. Watch this space for more information!
