19.01.2022 How well did you sleep last night? When it comes to sleep, you must take time for it.... Here are my top 5 dietary tips I believe to be the most beneficial to improving sleep. 1. Magnesium & Calcium: The benefits are vast, specifically to sleep which helps muscle relaxation, deactivation of adrenaline and the reduction of cortisol.... 2. Avoid alcohol: The problem with drinking before bed is that your body cannot enter a deep sleep until the alcohol is metabolised. 3. Ditch caffeine for herbal tea: Valerian, lavender and chamomile tea are amongst the best due to their ability to relax the body 4. Bananas high in natural muscle relaxants magnesium and potassium and the amino acid "Tryptophan" 5. Cherries Contain melatonin, which is a hormone primarily released by the pineal gland that regulates the sleepwake cycle. See more

19.01.2022 Mental fitness is vital to our overall health. So by exercising the mind it will help pump blood to the brain, helping you to think more clearly, whilst increasing the size of the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory. It will also increase the connections between the nerve cells in the brain. This improves your memory and helps protect your brain against injury and disease.

17.01.2022 Happy Friday! Have a great weekend everyone!

16.01.2022 Struggling with motivation to Exercise? Exercise can be frustrating! From finding the time, to finding the motivation. We know it’s good for us, so why is it so difficult to stay on top of? Below are the top 3 issues:... Problem 1 - Time Solution Schedule time in advance, diarise Create an inspiring vision that allows you to rise above I don’t have time and able to see the bigger, better, picture. A better you. Create a goal/vision Then it will move up on your hierarchy and those wants and needs will become musts - surrounded by a clear absence of excuses. Problem 2 We want instant gratification Not seeing results in one week. Do you give up? No! Good things take time; better things even longer. Solution Embrace delayed gratification [and have goals] Health is a journey, not a destination. When you can make this change in your mindset from seeking body transformation, to a total health transformation, you’re winning! Problem 3 - We make it too hard for ourselves. We love extremism. Chasing diets and exercise fads with an all-or-nothing approach that only leaves us with one thing nothing. Solution Simplify & check in with your goals I hate when people tell me they don’t have enough time to exercise. It’s not a matter of time, it’s a matter of priorities. If you really wanted more, you’d do more. So, keep it simple! Let me create a training schedule for you and commit - make it achievable but non-negotiable.
