23.01.2022 We built a mountain bike track at Alstonville High School. A beginner level trail with optional lines for skill progression. A very motivated group of students drove this project through the whole process from negotiation and design through to construction. Well done guys, we hope you enjoy the track! Big thanks also to all the volunteers who came out today to help tidy up and value add

22.01.2022 Grrrr... Thankyou to the disrespectful 'person' (we'd love to use more appropriate words, but there are kids that follow us) that decided to ride Duck Creek Mo...untain Bike Park on the new, wet, soft trails over the weekend (note the facility is CLOSED). Not only are you disrespecting the years the project team has put into the this project, you are also disrespecting all those riders that are patiently waiting until the trails are ready to ride (they need to settlle and firm up BEFORE riding). The damage you have caused has now delayed the opening of this bike park as it needs repairing, by a working bee group, not the contractor, as this isn’t their issue to resolve. This moves our focus away from completing the project to repairing the damage. An estimate would put it at 2-3 weeks to repair. The next person(s) to be caught on camera (yes, we have several) will be prosecuted legally without hesitation or notice as they are trespassing on private land and damaging works on a construction site (that's vandalism). And yes, if you are caught, will personally and financially be responsible for the damage you cause. We really dislike having to come down heavy, but this should be a really happy occasion for all - it's certainly not for the project team when have to deal with the fallout! P.S. you can't hold a good line through a berm. Dave is a qualfied coach if you'd like some lessons, give him a call.

Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels Mountain Bike Club ...are in the middle of a huge trail project at Duck Creek MTB Park and we can't wait to see the results! ** Duck Creek MTB Park is still a work-in-progress, so please hold off on riding here until the trail crews finish working their magic!

06.01.2022 Well done Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels for getting this park off the ground. A huge amount of behind the scenes work over quite a few years have gone into its development. Many thanks to the Club and also Trailworx for been given the opportunity to be a co-partner in the trail construction. Happy trails!!
