This is to kindly inform you that the IWF together with the Saudi Organizing Committee settled the new dates for the 2021 IWF Junior World Championships: 21 May 2021 / VERIFICATION OF FINAL ENTRIES 22 May 2021 / IWF CONGRESS 23-31 May 2021 / COMPETITION IMPORTANT NOTE The extension of the Qualification Period for Weightlifting for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is under review by the International Olympic Committee. Therefore IWF cannot confirm the Gold Level Qualification Event status of the 2021 IWF Junior World Championships at this stage. The IWF will inform the Member Federations about the decision of the IOC as soon as possible. PRELIMINARY ENTRIES' (Long List) / WHEREABOUTS' DEADLINE The deadline for both Preliminary Entries and Whereabouts Information will be 23 February 2021. IWF E-ENTRY SYSTEM The IWF E-Entry System will be reopened next year to be able to make changes to your athletes' list. 11.01.2022 IWF Online Youth World Cup. Tori Gallegos competed at 6:00am this morning in Toowoomba. Tori snatched 76kg and clean & jerked 92kg to finish in 5th place with a 168kg Total.

01.01.2022 IWF Online Youth World Cup It was a late night for Australia's remaining competitors in the IWF Online Youth Cup. Starting at 11:00pm at the Dungeon Barbell Club, Cairns, Max Toller succeeded with all six attempts to Total 225kg in the Men's 89kg C Group.... Later, at the Burleigh Barbell Club on the Gold Coast, Maddison Power competed in the Women's 71kg B Group and finished lifting at around 1:15am, eventually placing 10th in the category.
