23.01.2022 FAMILY FUN DAY Im looking forward to spending the day at the Whim Festival and Billy Cart Races tomorrow. Well have a stall down in the park where you can ...come and chat or do a 5 minute workshop making your own signature roller bottles up. There will also be a few items for sale if youd like to get some lava jewellery or beautiful bath products. Hope to see you there! Did anyone go to the Billy Cart races last year? 10.01.2022 The time has come, we'll see you all there! The Mount Helena Classic WHIM FESTIVAL... Sunday 27th Oct 2019. 9am till 4pm Pioneer Park Mt Helena. With free entry, The Whim Festival has always aimed to keep you busy for the entire day, but now, running side by side with the Hills Billy cart races, there's no one in the family who won't be entertained! We have top quality music on stage, three local coffee vans and plenty of delicious food. From stalls selling quality local products, professional face painters, laser tag to a train and peddle karts, we have loads to do for no cost at all, and for all age groups. (Adults we want to see you get hands-on too!!). So bring your camp chairs and a card table, bring a keep cup and a plate to have filled by our vendors, take a seat, let the kids go and stay all day.

05.01.2022 The Mount Helena Classic will be the Mt Helena Ratepayers Association biggest fundraiser of the year. To make the most of the opportunity we need people power to help us sell our remaining 20k Bendigo Bank raffle tickets. To sweeten the deal, Ace Cinemas Midland Gate have kindly donated 3 movie tickets for our top sellers, which will be available for collection/drop off next week So, if you have older kids who might be keen to help us out, please encourage them to do so. If they have the gift of the gab and happy to rove around the event for an hour or two we would appreciate all the help we can muster. 03.01.2022 This Sunday, Mount Helena will Turn Back Time and bring our normally sleepy village to life with the MOUNT HELENA CLASSIC. A full line up of events from both Whim Festival & The Hills Billy Cart Festival is now out. There are also all day exhibitions such as the Vintage Cars on Keane Street East, Turn Back Time prams, bikes, dolls etc as well as the Amateur Photography Competition. Dont forget to dress up to the nines as roving judges will be handing out prizes for best dress...ed (1920's-1970's theme). Come down and support your local community groups and businesses who will be set up and ready from 9am onwards, bring your appetite as there are food vans, coffee a plenty, even some local wine tasting available. This year we are proud to say we are a plastic free event., so please remember your reusable water-bottles and keep cups . We look forward to seeing you there .

Racing starts at 9 am on Evans St , Mt Helena.See the carts lining up in the pits on McVicar Place. BRING IT ON !
