15.01.2022 Today is R U OK? We're checking in to ask are you ok? The R U OK? foundation raises awareness for positive mental health and suicide prevention. More and more Australians are seeking their services. 2020 has been a particularly difficult year for everyone in Australia; the effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic have been far reaching, and Australia's already alarming suicide rates has increased considerably. While Covid has meant we were unable to host an event the size of... last year's fundraising gala; we were able to hold a small fundraising BBQ in house for our staff today. Thanks to Brent, David and the team from Low n Slow Meat Co. Getta Burger and That BBQ joint for catering; as usual your smokey, BBQ platter of meaty goodness was an absolute hit; you've never seen 20 meat men so quiet. 06.01.2022 We were saddened to learn earlier this month that our friend and comrade in meat Steve from Two Butchers has been diagnosed with cancer. Steve has achieved so much in life, including his successful business partnership and a beautiful family. His friend Nick from Woodchuck smokers australia has established a Gofund Me me page to raise money for Steve's treatment.
