24.01.2022 Big thanks to those volunteers who came out this morning to help at Hunchback working bee. We managed to get through a bit, Tidy up of the paddock, bike rack complete (you need to check it out), drains cleared on lower laCabra and RnR plus some brush cutting to improve visibility on finishing section of RnR. Plenty more to do so hope you can get out to the next one.

21.01.2022 So everybody. Albury City is currently investigating MTB potential in our area and they wanting to know how many supporters and users of our trail network are out there. We need to make some noise! And this is how we can do that and make sure it gets straight to the people who need to know! Help us Help you to secure a better trail network. Feel free to modify or add to this letter as much as you want. Let them know how passionate you are! Let them know how you use the trails..., how often and how many friends/family go with you. If you support the trail networks locally but don't ride them, let them know that too! Let the Albury city Councillors know what you would like developed in and around Albury, NICELY PLEASE!! And show them how keen we are. They need to know how many riders there are here. What sort of facilities we would like. New trails, Pump track, toilet facilities, better parking. Council has already voted positively on 13/07/20 on completing a development plan for our area. No Councillor voted against the motion! The AWMTB club has been working towards this for a long time now, lets kick this along. If your family has multiple members feel free to encourage everyone to send in their ideas even if they are under 18 years old. Every one’s ideas are important. It doesn’t matter where you live. If you ride locally, share you ideas. Please send your response directly to Cr David Thurley, Cr Kevin Mack and Cr Amanda Cohn. [email protected] [email protected] Below is basic template for your letter, but please make it your own. To Councillor Mack, Councillor Cohn. 18.01.2022 Hi all, just a reminder that with Covid restrictions in place to ensure that everybody is abiding by them. Ride your nearest trails, don't ride if you're showing any symptoms, practice social distancing on the trails and trailhead, stick to your state limits on group numbers, wear masks as required and adhere to any further requirements of the land managers and authorities. Other than that, stay healthy and stay safe out there
18.01.2022 The new up trail is really coming to life now, it truely looks amazing and cant wait to ride up to the top (few months back we never would have said this).
18.01.2022 The Orchids are out, Nailcan trails are running mint. Spikey boy approved. . This could be an MTB haiku, or just more reasons to go ride your bike.... Borders are opening. Where did you ride on the weekend? See more

16.01.2022 Great to see some progress, for those involved know how big a haul it has been to get this far. First steps to a better mountain bike network and facilities on the border.
15.01.2022 Some riders today in the Comet Cycles Micro Gravity Enduro. To our race sponsor Comet Cycle thank you for your support. A quick thankyou to all the volunteers and club members that helped make this happen. No one gets paid and all money goes back into the club to provide more races and meetings for the members and anyone else who likes to go fast! The last few years have been tough but there are big things happening in our near future. Come to a meeting and find out. Help ...out at a race, come and get involved. Help as little or as much as you want. We appreciate it all. These races run on the backs of volunteers and without them we have no races! Thankyou to all the competitors today. A few injuries but some great, fast and close results. Many racers thanked the marshals during racing and we do appreciate it. Thanks for coming everyone! See more
15.01.2022 Imagine adding another 60km trail network to our already amazing lists of places to ride our bikes. Mitta Mitta are proposing just this, another great opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature in the Mitta Valley.
14.01.2022 The trails are wet , just a reminder that its better to ride through puddles then around them as it will minimise the width of the trail. Have a blast this weekend and keep it upright.

08.01.2022 Reminder to all riders (club members & general public) to keep to the designated trails, please stay off the private property and single tracks on the area around Ron’s / George Fire Trails, Sam’s trail etc. See attached map for private property areas. All fire roads and single tracks in this area are on private land and the land owner has stated that no mountain bikers are allowed to ride on these trails. People in these areas are trespassing and may be liable for legal prosecution. Please do not remove any of the private property/trail closed signs on these tracks. Please respect the wishes of the land owner and do the right thing. Regards, Committee - AWMTB
07.01.2022 Big things happening in Omeo! How do you think we would go with a trail network like this here in Albury? AWMTB are continuing to lobby council for a return to a trail maintenance role, increase in trails and other facilities for our community of bike riders and other trail users. Working towards big things.

03.01.2022 Hey everyone. This is Craig Quinlivan from Albury Wodonga Mountain Bikers. We are trying to gauge the interest levels of the clubs into a revamp of the RAMBO series. It has always been such a great series for local XC riders and juniors to get their teeth into and we would love to get it going again hopefully in 2022. Initially we are just gauging interest but are considering all options, even format changes if the racers/clubs demand it. Would love to hear from you, Thankyou.
01.01.2022 Be really careful on Nailcan at the moment. After several years of no maintenance and 50mm of rain of Wednesday night there are a lot of dramatically changed conditions on downhill areas. Plenty of ruts and holes to catch out the unwary. Eyes up and happy trails everyone
01.01.2022 Hey Racers, Here is a few pics from the weekends Enduro. Thankyou to Simon Dallinger Photography https://simondallingerphotography.pixieset.com/cometcycle/
