25.01.2022 Would you believe that's a projected image? This installation was from a while ago and I still can't get past the picture quality. It's one of the simplest installations we have done for Keepad Interactive but one of my favorites ... #ViewSonic #Keepadinteractive #TAFE #tafensw #skillspoint

24.01.2022 Last months power bill was only $52.21. It was hot so we were running the ducted air conditioning a lot. We don't mind only having to pay $1.68 per day to feel comfortable. I often get asked "Is solar really worth it?"

24.01.2022 Rainy day jobs. Installing a different kind of panel. 9x 55 inch 4K boarder less Phillips TV's creating a video wall a little over 2 meters high and 3.6 meters wide. #keepadinteractive #videowall #Philips #rainyday #4KUHD

22.01.2022 Being a traveling tradie I'm always on the hunt for a good bakery that makes a chunky meat pie with flaky pastry for lunch and a chewy sourdough to take home. I lucked it in today working in Katoomba. What's your favorite bakery? Who does the best meat pies and sourdough? #sydneytradies #hominybakerykatoomba #meatpie #sourdough

21.01.2022 Why Solar is important right now. #SolarIsEssential

18.01.2022 Not a bad view of Greenhills Beach on this 10kW installation Josh, Pete & Adam completed this week. #Solaredge #LGsolar

18.01.2022 I'm proud to have made it into the finals of the 2019 Solar Design & Installation awards. To be considered alongside some amazing projects designed by some very talented people is humbling.

17.01.2022 Hail storms and aging solar panels. Cracked glass, cracked silicone, damaged electricals, corrosion, water, dirt and dust are some of the things I have found in the last month, causing major problems for homeowners with solar systems that aren’t regularly maintained. Although regular inspections are recommended most system owners forget. If it’s been a while give me a call and I’m happy to talk you through what to look for, or if you would like I can come out and do a full inspection report and clean.

16.01.2022 Getting it done. #SolarEdge #Hyundai #Clenergy #terracottatiles

15.01.2022 Electricity prices keep going up. Compleat Angler Villawood wanted to reduce operating costs. With a return on investment under 24 months it was a no brainer. This system has now paid for itself and will continue to keep power bills down for years to come. ... #growatt #BYD #commercialsolar #reducepowerbills

14.01.2022 "It's so good not waking up to the sound of pigeons cooing and scratching under my solar panels" is what my customer told me the day after we pigeon proofed his solar panels. We installed a high strength black polymer coated stainless steel mesh using non penetrating fixings so as not to void warranty on the solar panels. The mesh will also stop possums, rats, snakes and other birds and still allows air and water flow under the solar panels.... We will be going back this week to give the solar panels a good clean now the pigeons have moved out. If you have a pigeons living under your solar panels we have the solution. Just give Josh a call.

14.01.2022 Hoping to win a 4K drone with this pic entered into the GreenDeal Solar Pic contest. That's Peter Clark with his I LOVE SOLAR shirt on the roof of a house at Greenhills Beach just after we finished installing #LGSolar panels and #SolarEdge.

13.01.2022 Just pre-wiring some SolarEdge smart relays for a customer so they can heat their pool from free excess solar power , schedule there pool filter to run at specific times and turn the pool lights on via their mobile phone Energy efficient smart home automation #SolarEdge #solaredgesmartmodules #homeautomation #smarthometech #smartsolar

13.01.2022 Voted by my install crew as "Best Investment I've made" is the Geda solar panel lifter. It has increased installation safety and efficiency . #worksafehomesafe #solarinstaller #gedaliftsystem #solaredge #recsolar

12.01.2022 Just bought a Landroid robot lawn mower. Now I can use excess solar power to automatically mow the lawn. And hopefully get rid of our petrol mower for good. More updates to come.

12.01.2022 In an effort to speed up the process from go ahead to installation, I thought it was a good idea to stock up. The only problem is the solar panels get allocated to a job before they arrive in our the warehouse. Think I might double the next order. #rectwinpeak2

12.01.2022 Customer said it needs to look good. Mission accomplished with an All Black solar system. #clenergyblack #Clenergy #Suntech #growatt #roadsideappeal

10.01.2022 Business as Usual (sort of) We have received advice from NECA and the CEC that we should continue to work. In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 additional precautions have been put in place to protect our staff, customers and suppliers.... The team have been briefed on distancing, hand washing, working in proximity with others and to not show up for work if they show symphony of the virus. It's our responsibility to ensure our team stay healthy and safe so we ask that if you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days or are feeling unwell to contact us to reschedule to a more suitable time. It's important that we support each other during these interesting times. We are always here to help.

09.01.2022 Shading is always an issue when installing solar. In this case we needed more of it. The only place for this inverter was on the north wall and in the middle of a hot summers day it would be baking. By protecting the inverter we are giving it the best chance of a long and productive life. ... #growatt #Hyundai #sunshading

09.01.2022 Recent purchase of a GEDA solar panel hoist. It's great for jobs like this with tricky roof access (11 meters). So much less manual handling our backs will thank us.

08.01.2022 Attended the All Energy conference in Melbourne today and found this great looking solar carport. Bi facial solar panels allow some light through and generate power on both sides of the panel.

07.01.2022 We love it when we sell more solar power than we use. With a Credit of $27.21 for the month. Produce your own power. Reduce your power consumption.... Use automation to make it painless. See more

07.01.2022 When a simple solution is all that's required. Growatt have put in a big effort in improving their inverters quality and visual appeal over the last few years. The X series range has recently expanded and now has options for 3 phase installations, larger single phase installations and battery connectivity.... This job was designed with 3x 5kW single phase inverters as it enabled us to have 6 separate strings which suited the solar panel layout. #growatt #solarinstallerssydney #solarpower

06.01.2022 75% of of our electricity never makes it to our home. Just listening to Saul Griffith share his research on household energy usage and why we need to electrify everything. Sauls message gives us clear reasoning and allows us to make the changes as we build and upgrade our homes and home appliances. I'm looking forward to reading more in his book Electrify: An Optimist's Playbook for Our Clean Energy Future. #Electrify #Rewiring #selfpreservation

05.01.2022 A very interesting read from Justin Rowlatt BBC News. Solar is booming in Afghanistan and its not because of government rebates. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-53450688

04.01.2022 We received a good write up in the December issue of Ecogeneration magazine.

03.01.2022 I received a call last night from a lady wanting solar. She said she had been in contact with several solar companies and found them all more interested in selling her a package rather than listening to what she wanted or even trying to work out what she needed. She wanted a quality installation with quality gear that was going to last a long time. She had specific questions about how the panels would be installed and how it would work and was annoyed she wasn’t able to get ...a satisfactory answer from any of the ‘Solar Marketing Companies’ she had spoken with. She was almost ready to give up on the whole idea of solar. I spent some time on the phone with her to work out what she was after and it turns out she was calling from Central Queensland. Unfortunately, although I could do with a holiday, I’m not able to do the job for her but, I was able to get in contact with 2 quality local solar installers that could help her out. She was most appreciative, all she wanted was to deal with one person who was going to give her the right advice and support. A lot of the TV ads and Social media ads you see for solar are large marketing companies with a dedicated sales team in a call centre waiting for you to make contact. Once you do you will be fed lines like Free WIFI, Government rebate ending soon, buy 18 solar panels and get 2 free, Tier 1 solar panels, German manufacturer and the list goes on. Their sole purpose is to get you to buy so they can meet this month’s quota. Often when dealing with smaller local tradies, although they want you to buy from them as well, they also realise they have a lot more to gain by doing the right thing by the customer and offer much better service and a better job done overall. The local tradie has local knowledge and experience giving you the best outcome.

03.01.2022 Suunto just wants a friend.
