08.01.2022 More scams! Telstra caller says "your internet will be down for about 2 hours while they work on it". He then asks if you know how to check your internet speed. If you not know, he will offer to help. If you do know, he will tell you he needs to monitor the test. Bottom line, he wants remote access to your computer. I have had three calls so far, so this is the current version of this old scam. If you get a call from 08 8967 1837, its them. As usual, if you wont let a strang...er walk around inside your house looking through all your closets and cupboards, why are you letting someone from Asia sort through your computer? Just say "no". They are very commanding. They are looking for elderly people they can victimize, but they will be glad to pick on anyone who will do as they are told. Be safe
