23.01.2022 Windamere produces some enormous yellas. The silvers are huge too and can be a little disappointing when fishing a Yella comp but not this time. Thanks Loomzy's Fish 'N' Fix and Wilson Fishing for your continued support of the bush angler

17.01.2022 It’s a very prestigious title, to win this you need to be consistent across a variety of species and locations. The award is based on a Teams total point score from all 3 rounds of the GARMIN Freshwater Series. Congratulations to the 2020 Team of the Year - WNFO Kyle Lewis and Lachlan Latham! 14.01.2022 Windamere winners interview. Hear how the Skeers boys took the final round of the Garmin Freshwater Series

12.01.2022 Sometimes you just come across the best people. Last weekend young Billy Reid and his mate George Matthews headed over to fish our AYC event at Windamere. The boys cruised across from Forbes and Grenfell with the old man in hand towing their little 370 explorer. A really tidy little boat but the smallest in the field. They smashed it in the lead up but could only manage the one fish of 555mm on the day of the event finishing in 46th place. During the comp they popped over to the AYC marquee at around lunch time to make themselves known to us and fleeced me out of my personal soft vibe stash. Grilled the Garmin rep about all things electronics then headed back out to give it another go. Nice meeting you guys and hope we get to see you and some of your mates again soon. And hats off to you Dad.

04.01.2022 The AYC Fishing Tournament 2020 Grand Final has been run and won. Congrats to the Skeers Boys on their win of a 1mm margin which is about the thickness of one o...f my grey hairs but a spectacular win none the less. The great thing about fishing tournaments (in my opinion) is that you are not really fishing against other teams. You are only ever really competing against the fish and your own mind-set over that 15hr period on the water. The right mind-set comes from the confidence created by great preparation, which takes a commitment to the cause. Thanks Brad Schumacher for your commitment in 2020. We learnt a lot and a great time was had with a rewarding result at the end of the day. Thanks Bruce Anderson and AYC for a great series and working out the covid compliant events.
