04.01.2022 This type of building is called Aduel. Among Jieng, Aduel which is a different type of house in Bar El Ghazan South Sudan was Jieng/Dinka's upper clay hut/house is only found in Yirol and Thonaduel in Rumbek. This kind of hut/ house only existed in Yirol since 1863 and earlier before discovery. People used to fear man eaters which were the animal that preys on humans as a pattern of hunting behavior like corpses. This upper clay hut/house was used to protect humans at night times
