24.01.2022 For many years I chanted a Sanskrit prayer for an hour every morning. It was a blissful time with a number of profound insights. So when the bushfires started this summer I desperately wanted to offer peace to our world and recommenced my beloved practice. Once again my practice supported me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I wasn’t as aware of the physical at the time but when the virus struck I thought that I must keep my lungs strong and clear. Working with these sacred syllables does exactly this as it is also a natural pranayama. Try this practice and if you’d like some recommendations of chants then drop me a line and I’ll make some suggestions. https://www.abc.net.au//chanting-practice-reduce-/12046736
23.01.2022 When I saw this I thought how true is this! I heard this in 2009 when I was in India and went to an Ayurvedic conference. Think back to your own youth and the lifestyle you led. It was full of all sorts of experimentations and experiences. You were invincible. What do you do now to ward off I’ll health and disease or do you wait until it occurs and then wonder why?

23.01.2022 Hello, seems I have missed a number of messages. I’m working on getting back to you today. Since fb has changed the way you access your business pages I often can’t find messages or see my response so if it’s an appointment or urgent please call or text me on my mobile. Thank you.
22.01.2022 As you all know I’ve been missing in action here on my Facebook page this past couple of months. June was a busy month. And to be honest aside from seeing regular patients I’ve taken this time meditating, chanting contemplating and rejuvenating my being after the past few years of going up & down to Melbourne, building our home & starting my practice in Bendigo. For now Bath Lane in Bendigo is closed, so my work is mostly online or at my home in Lockwood South. In times of ...crises we must turn within and adapt. So I’ve also spent hours on a new website which I’ll hopefully introduce you to soon! I’m not a web designer but I’m doing my best to create a beautiful space for you all. More on this later. Please stay safe and trust that people are here to support you. Now is not the time to fall down a rabbit hole (got plenty here on our property ) love to you all and I’m here for consultations. 21.01.2022 I often see people with acidic stomachs when taking high dose curcumones. Taking it in food is the traditional way and still worked for Indians for centuries. Bigger is not always best, just as isolated plant chemicals are best in their natural form.
21.01.2022 Just made a fresh batch of body & facial cream. All natural. This time of made it free of essential oils though I will add per person oils to your choice. Often I put rose and jasmine sambuc. I’ve also created creams for eczema with calendula, chickweed and chamomile. Let me know your choice.
19.01.2022 How do you take care of yourself? Until recently for me it would be a massage, facial, taking time with good friends or seeking out another therapist to support my health goals. My re-established practices are taking greater care of my spirit. What is it for you?
17.01.2022 Book now to support your body overcome the effects of spring allergies. Using natural tools such as diet, lifestyle, home remedies, herbal medicines and nutritional supplements.
12.01.2022 When you pick your own and raspberries. I doubted they would ripen, but I just needed to be patient. Sounds like healing. Just have to be patient. #naturopath #ayurveda #foodasmedicine #maldon #centralvictoria #rythm
09.01.2022 The quality of the herb or spice used in your cooking always makes your dish. Having spoken for decades on the benefit of good quality herbs & spices I decided it was time to share with you the highest quality organic spices for your enjoyment and health benefits. I have created a website where you may purchase and learn more on how to use the spices in both recipes and home remedies. The home remedy recipes do not take the place of proper medical advise, they are there to g...ive you support and empowerment for your own health. I hope you enjoy what I have created for you and welcome you to www.thespicemistressonline.com
06.01.2022 The perfect Autumn meal. Using the last of summer vegetables along with a couple of staples such as carrots. The trick with this recipe is not overdoing the coconut milk/cream, as otherwise it starts to feel heavy to digest.
05.01.2022 There is a sound I used to always listen too as I went into meditation. The instrument is called a Tamboura. When you listen just with your outer ear it sounds like only 5 notes are playing repetitiously. Yet as you listen with a more one pointed mind and your heart, deeper layers of sweet sound may also be heard. I didn’t hear this the first time or the second time but once I did it held my attention and I listened with a sense of awe. It soothed my mind. It brought me back to that quiet place over and over again. This is what we all need now at this powerful time of change, attention on our deeper self. With a changing world it’s truly not the time to hold on to what was. Look inwards, who knows how long it takes to become established in this space. It’s such a sweet space to be in though and just what we need at this powerful time.
05.01.2022 I know many people are really struggling at this time whilst some of us are diving into this opportunity to create new habits and mental steadfastness. Whilst we were building our home I found this free app to be of great support to me along with a great psychologist at times to aid giving my stresses perspective. It’s important to remember we don’t have to do it all alone. https://apps.apple.com//moodfit-shape-up-your/id1054458809
04.01.2022 In times of stress
01.01.2022 What may this mean? Our mind and senses are there to gather the information we need to make choices and decisions. But once you’ve gathered the information then listen within. Feel within.
01.01.2022 Now is the time to prepare for the Hay fever season. It is never too late to take preventative action. In Australia its not uncommon for hay fever to start early. Our native plants start flowering as early as June or as late as August depending on weather. So don't wait until the symptoms are fully there. You may be experiencing extreme fatigue (histamine overload) or itchy eyes & throat. These are early signs of hay fever. By starting on dietary changes and herbs and or supplements now a full blown attack may be avoided. To discuss your needs Call Vicki now to book an appointment on 0401929157.
